Purchase of New Car I went in not really expecting to buy a new car but dealt with Mo Afzal and he was fantastic, was able to get me into a new car, it was time, my old H I went in not really expecting to buy a new car but dealt with Mo Afzal and he was fantastic, was able to get me into a new car, it was time, my old Highlander was on her way out. Immoral and unethical finance person. Went to buy a Toyota Camry Prius and was very pleased with sales person Mustafa. Got the car after couple of rounds of negotiation, Mustafa was so fri Went to buy a Toyota Camry Prius and was very pleased with sales person Mustafa. Got the car after couple of rounds of negotiation, Mustafa was so friendly and even ordered lunch for us. Then came the real shocker when the finance person Phil started working with us. My wife and i have an excellent credit score and was surprised to hear from him that our rate of interest is 4.29%. We were totally surprised and questioned him to recheck again, then he told us that if we take extended warranty then he will be able to bring it down to 3.79%. We were still apprehensive at the number and told im that we are not sure how he got those numbers. Then comes another sale pitch and told us that if we take gap insurance then he can make it to 1.9%. At that time we had enough with him that we have pre-approved loan rate of 2.34% with my bank and showed him the same. When we started to question his numbers, he covered it saying that he checked with a different bank and now he can get 1.9% from Toyota. The way he gave the numbers to us was totally unethical, not sure if it's illegal or not. A day of celebration for getting a new car was ruined by this unethical finance guy. So those who want to do business with this person, please be aware of his unethical practices. More
