I have a 2009 Toyota Highlander with 150,000 miles that has been serviced with Oakbrook Toyota for 15 years now. It needs a lot of work, but I plan on driving it as long as I can. Steve Arnold always helps me out by prioritizing what I should have repaired first based on safety and possible escilation of costs. I trust him. I trust Oakbrook Toyota. More

I gave 2 stars so this review will not be deleted. I gave them a second chance for an oil change. The wait was better but the visit was worse. I left with a list of recommendations totalling almost $3 I gave them a second chance for an oil change. The wait was better but the visit was worse. I left with a list of recommendations totalling almost $3700.00 which I did no need so everyone beware of this dealer. I asked Steve, the service advisor, for an experienced tech.to do the work and inspection on the car.I've been having bad luck with the oil change people breaking things and not filling up the tires and oil level properly. He couldn't accomidate. When the oil change was done he called with the bad news all 4 struts were leaking and needing change, I needed an engine flush and my brake fluid was dark and needed changing. I explained the brake fluid was changed last year and the Toyota dealer in Lombard that changed it told me it changed color immediately so go by time. I always told a"flush" wasn't necessary if I changed my oil on time. I told him to just change the oil and give me the quote when I get there. When I got home I looked at my struts to find only the front passenger slightly leaking. I know struts are supposed to be replaced in pairs even if the other is good so I took it to my mechanic. He told per Toyota if the drives fine and the leak hasn't progressed passed the saddle the strut is still considered good. So I only needed a $70 oil change instead of the almost $4000.00 after tax they tried to scare me into spending. Just avoid them and ALWAYS get a second opinion when talking with Steve or anyone there. I've tried twice now out of convenience . No more. I'll just go out of my way to Elmhurst. More

Not a great selection. However there still wasn’t the exact car (and we had zero color preference) because each and every one of those had multiple overpriced and unwanted add in features, one of which was consistently “paint protection.“. In addition, the several thousand dollar dealer mark ups did not help either. And it wasn’t limited to what we were looking at; on the way out, I overheard a separate customer taking issue with an even worse mark up on a Prius. Only thing saving them from 1 star is there wasn’t an extended wait and the car salesman wasn’t overtly rude (which might be a low bar, but it’s a car dealership so far from unheard of) More

I was in there this afternoon servicing my RAV4 and I was waiting in the waiting room and was looking at TV and they had maternity court on the TV and it was me and two other women in there and nobody was co waiting in the waiting room and was looking at TV and they had maternity court on the TV and it was me and two other women in there and nobody was complaining about what was on the TV but the woman that takes your payments turned the TV and I asked her why did she turn the TV and she said they don’t want y’all to look at that it was daytime TV I’m not understanding that. I do know I will no longer patronize people that feel a certain way about me and treat me disrespectfully. I don’t understand how somebody chooses what you can watch on daytime TV and she said the manager of the dealership don’t want y’all looking at that on TV. I would like to know what she meant by ( y’all). More
you want to make dozens of phone calls over several months to finally get the title of the car you bought months ago this is the place for you. I went into this dealership mid June to buy her first c months to finally get the title of the car you bought months ago this is the place for you. I went into this dealership mid June to buy her first car. Everything went smoothly and we drove away with her used car we payed cash for. They told us it will be a couple of weeks before getting the title since the state is slow. In August there was still no title and my daughter called the dealership the first time. Answer: there was a delay, but it’s handled now and she should get the title soon. 3 weeks later, still no title and no paperwork sent to the state (you can call them and check). Dozens of more phone calls from my daughter. Eventually they told us there is a lien on the car but that should be cleared within the week. All throughout September, October, November my daughter called multiple times with empty promises to get a call back and get the lien taken care off. In December I took over the phone calls. I asked for the manager and eventually got a hold of him. He said he will look into it and call me back, he did and I got the same info my daughter had gotten, there is a lien on the car, they will work on it, should be done in a week. I wanted to proof of it the moment it’s cleared and he assured me it will be done. No such thing, it took several more phone calls with deflection, him being annoyed with me and saying it’s not a big deal. My daughter finally got the title last week 8 months after we purchased the car. More
