I have never experienced such unethical and immoral treatment from a business. We found a vehicle at Orr, my husband test drove it and noticed a few issues. After speaking with the salesperson, it was treatment from a business. We found a vehicle at Orr, my husband test drove it and noticed a few issues. After speaking with the salesperson, it was agreed the vehicle would go through the service department so the issues regarding the check engine light and rear end could be fixed, then we would sign paperwork. We went back to Orr after receiving a call stating the issues were repaired and the vehicle was ready. Within one day of owning the vehicle, all the previous issues were apparent again and the light was back on. The vehicle went back to the service department. My husband told an employee in the service department that it was a torque conversion and/or transmission issue. Again, we were called and told the issues were really fixed this time. Now, three months later, the transmission needs to be replaced. The entire conversation regarding buying the vehicle was based on the issues being fixed and we were told three different times that the issues were resolved. Our first mistake was trusting the employees of Orr. We never expected to be blatantly lied to. Because the service department employee was fired, Orr is refusing to acknowledge the conversations had with her. We have tried for the last week to work with Orr. They offered to take our vehicle in on trade for a laughable number because the transmission needs to be replaced. Yes, the transmission they claimed to repair multiple times. They lied time and time again and refuse to come to a respectable solution. We even asked at the very least for Orr to cover half the $3600 repair costs and they refuse. We are out a vehicle and thousands of dollars because Orr employees guaranteed issues were fixed when they were not. We never would have purchased a vehicle with known issues and only signed paperwork after being guaranteed the service department went through the vehicle with a fine tooth comb and fixed every single issue brought to their attention. We will never recommend or use Orr again after they have refused to right their own wrong. More
As promised here is the Final Update: It has taken some time but my issues with Orr Cadillac and GMC have been resolved thanks to a very courteous person from the corporate office by the name of John. He listened to my side of the situation and took care of things in a respectable manner. I do appreciate his approach to bringing a close to this situation. He stated that Orr Auto wants this dealership to be the best it can be, and I believe him. Special thanks to a different John (sales manager) and Jennifer (works in the service area) for your kindness and understanding. Because of these 3 individuals I have changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars because even with good people like this, there still is some work to do. More
