I thought when I bought my volvo I was buying a product from a great company all around. However, as I found out, this is far from the truth. While Volvo itself may be a great company, they're only as goo from a great company all around. However, as I found out, this is far from the truth. While Volvo itself may be a great company, they're only as good as the local dealers who manage the customer experience through sales, service, etc.. I brought my car in for routine maintenance, one which cost more than usual because of its interval, and my routine visit was a nightmare. After paying several hundred dollars one would expect nothing but the best all around experience from a reputable company, but again, I was proven wrong. After being in the shop all day, they called and said my car was ready. So I paid and thanked them for working on my car. As I pulled away I noticed some electronics in my car were not working. You would think they'd have a post-work inspection of some sort to ensure proper functionality of the car before giving it back to the paying customer. Well, not only did they not do that, they had me wait for more than an hour, only to tell me that my car had to come back in or stay the night as well as they had no loaner car. I don't know what most people do for a living these days, but I suspect most work and don't really have time to waste on something that should have been done correctly the first time. The next day I pick the car up and am happy because you know what, my car was running fine. Later that night at home, right after I picked up the car, I was looking for something I thought might have been under the seat. One would think that I'd learn after the first time to inspect a less than impressive company's work after the second time, but I didn't. As I was searching my car I found that they did not properly replace my interior carpet- it was hanging by just fabric and missing the screws. Not only that, but the storage area behind my center console was not in place and looks like it was just thrown there. I've never been this disappointed about service like I am about this dealership's idea of "Customer Service". I felt as if I was ignored, and they could care less about my business or vehicle, just seemed all about " earning a check". I didn't go to business school, but I and along with anyone who has a little common sense can imagine that you should leave the 'Paying' customer with more than they came with, and that customer satisfaction is something a good business looks to accomplish. Like I said if you want to deal with volvo, whether sales, service, or even questions, I highly recommend you steer clear of " OSteen Volvo" because your personal experience might make you change your mind from Volvo, which is a great company and has good products. I'll gladly drive further, never give them my business again, and look to tell as many people I work with who are/future volvo owners not to deal with them. They say first impressions are everything, well obviously Osteen volvo didn't get the memo. This only helps prove they don't care about the customer. More
