I have taken the car in on multiple occasions without resolution. They have a concierge named Stacie who does a poor job and the service center is lazy. I would think twice before buying a car from osteen's. More
Bill Archer "Typical Salesman" I purchased my wife a used car from Bill Archer at O'Steen Volvo. He gave me the whole story about how great their customer service is and showed me I purchased my wife a used car from Bill Archer at O'Steen Volvo. He gave me the whole story about how great their customer service is and showed me some paper work of some award. I like the car and the price. We picked up the car on Saturday. One of the last things Bill Archer said, "if you have any questions or concerns please reach out to me." That's when Bill Archer performed his disappearing act. I have texted Bill Archer my questions and concerns with little to no reply. 6 text messages in a week and nothing from him. It really bugs me when once the deal is done, the "Typical Salesman" just doesn't give a crap about the buyer. I spent $21,000 and now I can't even get a reply. More
Excellent Cutomer Service Having no dealership in Gainesville we chose Osteen for a major service. A special thanks to Mark the Assistant Service Manager who took care of everything. Our job was done right, pricing was within the market rate for the necessary part and the job required a loaner car. All expectations were "top tier". We have had Volvo for 30 plus years spanning multiple models and dealerships and this was our best experience. Thank You Mark. More
Screwed!!! Called to assure Volvo C30 was on the lot and told sales guy #1 I would re-confirm next morning. Sales guy #1 is not at work next morning - he should Called to assure Volvo C30 was on the lot and told sales guy #1 I would re-confirm next morning. Sales guy #1 is not at work next morning - he should have told me! Asked for another sales guy who confirmed that car was available, so on the road we go! Get call from first sales guy who says car is sold! Call back sales guy #2 who says nobody knew nothing about car being sold - come on down! So I'm getting a little paranoid and call sales manager who says car is not sold. Put car back in gear and continue our drive to Volvo xxxx! Get there and you can tell - long personal stories, downcast eyes, shuffling papers - no C30 in sight. Alright guys lets get down to business and look at the car. Duh, you gotta talk to the sales manager. And of course he says the car was sold the day before! Would ya like to look at another car? We, Dr. Hughes and I, retired Wall Street Financial dummy, musta been wearing our stupid signs!!! Why do I hate buying cars and slimey car salesmen? More
You get what you pay for Have had our XC90 serviced by Osteen since new in 2006. While on the $$$$ side, I've not found any place that does quality work cheaper. On the two Have had our XC90 serviced by Osteen since new in 2006. While on the $$$$ side, I've not found any place that does quality work cheaper. On the two occasions that I've taken the vehicle for an oil change @ jiffy-quickie the xxxxxx's managed to damage the filter housing, and left out a couple of bolts from the splash pan; discovered when I DIY the last oil change. When service is recommended, it is generally well explained. More

I thought when I bought my volvo I was buying a product from a great company all around. However, as I found out, this is far from the truth. While Volvo itself may be a great company, they're only as goo from a great company all around. However, as I found out, this is far from the truth. While Volvo itself may be a great company, they're only as good as the local dealers who manage the customer experience through sales, service, etc.. I brought my car in for routine maintenance, one which cost more than usual because of its interval, and my routine visit was a nightmare. After paying several hundred dollars one would expect nothing but the best all around experience from a reputable company, but again, I was proven wrong. After being in the shop all day, they called and said my car was ready. So I paid and thanked them for working on my car. As I pulled away I noticed some electronics in my car were not working. You would think they'd have a post-work inspection of some sort to ensure proper functionality of the car before giving it back to the paying customer. Well, not only did they not do that, they had me wait for more than an hour, only to tell me that my car had to come back in or stay the night as well as they had no loaner car. I don't know what most people do for a living these days, but I suspect most work and don't really have time to waste on something that should have been done correctly the first time. The next day I pick the car up and am happy because you know what, my car was running fine. Later that night at home, right after I picked up the car, I was looking for something I thought might have been under the seat. One would think that I'd learn after the first time to inspect a less than impressive company's work after the second time, but I didn't. As I was searching my car I found that they did not properly replace my interior carpet- it was hanging by just fabric and missing the screws. Not only that, but the storage area behind my center console was not in place and looks like it was just thrown there. I've never been this disappointed about service like I am about this dealership's idea of "Customer Service". I felt as if I was ignored, and they could care less about my business or vehicle, just seemed all about " earning a check". I didn't go to business school, but I and along with anyone who has a little common sense can imagine that you should leave the 'Paying' customer with more than they came with, and that customer satisfaction is something a good business looks to accomplish. Like I said if you want to deal with volvo, whether sales, service, or even questions, I highly recommend you steer clear of " OSteen Volvo" because your personal experience might make you change your mind from Volvo, which is a great company and has good products. I'll gladly drive further, never give them my business again, and look to tell as many people I work with who are/future volvo owners not to deal with them. They say first impressions are everything, well obviously Osteen volvo didn't get the memo. This only helps prove they don't care about the customer. More
