Bought a Jeep here Friday (March 4th 2022) and had it delivered to me the following day. It was agreed upon delivery that they would fix the TPS (tire pressure sensor) and replace the roof rack because b delivered to me the following day. It was agreed upon delivery that they would fix the TPS (tire pressure sensor) and replace the roof rack because both things were broken and was I told by Frank when they brought me the car Saturday it would all be fixed. Not only did they never fix those two issues but after 7 days of having the vehicle it now won’t start and is on the side of the road. I texted Frank asking for any kind of assistance and was just met with a simple sorry. I feel I have been 100% lied to and conned by this dealership and as a marine corps disabled vet I figured they would of tried to help me out a little more but it seems to me once they get their money they lose interest in you. Very disappointed and now still left without a vehicle to drive More
The entire experience of shopping for my next car was surprisingly pleasant. I met Mr Osteen, the sales mgr and salesman who spent time explaining the difference features on the both new and used Volvos. surprisingly pleasant. I met Mr Osteen, the sales mgr and salesman who spent time explaining the difference features on the both new and used Volvos. I could not have been more impressed. The balance between professionalism and being personable is difficult for most in this business. Not at O'steen... 5 Stars all around, from Mr O'Steen to Blake, the sales expert. No pressure just answered my questions. I give them my highest recommendation . More
We bought 2 used volvos from Osteen Volvo and took our cars to be serviced there for over 15 years. We had problems with our volvo and took it to be diagnosed and waited for 4 days and nobody called us or cars to be serviced there for over 15 years. We had problems with our volvo and took it to be diagnosed and waited for 4 days and nobody called us or returned our calls till I called and complained about it. They finally sent me a long list of what they “thought “ it was wrong with it. How can they charge $180.00 to do a diagnostic check if they are going to give you a long list of what they “think” it’s wrong with it!! No real answer, very disappointed!! More
I bought my last Volvo at O'Steen and I"m disappointed by the way they run their Service: Can't talk to a human to make an appt and get a loaner to cover me for a new service. Waiting for a callback stinks! the way they run their Service: Can't talk to a human to make an appt and get a loaner to cover me for a new service. Waiting for a callback stinks! Do not buy a car here unless you are not getting it serviced here. Go on the website and try to schedule service. It’s October and their next appointment is in December. I had to drive 60 miles each wa serviced here. Go on the website and try to schedule service. It’s October and their next appointment is in December. I had to drive 60 miles each way to Gunther in Daytona. No one calls back and the general manager has not responded via email More
Bought a 2014 Benz wagon, one owner. He kept it for 120k miles then sold it. I guessed possibly the safety features he bought the car for started going south so I requested a diagnoses feature by feature. I miles then sold it. I guessed possibly the safety features he bought the car for started going south so I requested a diagnoses feature by feature. Instead they did a code check, which would not reveal a defect unless the feature was just used. Restarting cancels codes. On the way back across the country to San Diego the safety features stopped numerous times and some never worked. Since the previous owner bought a new car, the dealer had to know the issues and i could tell by the way different people were talking. I should have applied pressure and stayed a few days until everything was tested. I wanted to pay cash and have it wired, they never came up with the info to do the transfer. they wanted me to finance for a kick back, as i was told. I'm surprised a new car dealership is so concerned of used car profit so as to now be honest in a sale. next time I will pay attention to my own advice. once I spend a few grand fixing everything, I will love the car. I was asked by my mother to bring her car in for service. I wasn’t looking forward to it but when I got to the dealership I was greeted by Robert. I am an avid football fan and Robert made me feel extremely I wasn’t looking forward to it but when I got to the dealership I was greeted by Robert. I am an avid football fan and Robert made me feel extremely welcomed when he saw my university of Washington shirt. He started talking football with me along with talking about what’s going with my mothers car. To make a long story short, I was not looking forward to bringing my mother’s car there and sitting for however long it took. Robert made the experience fun and I felt like he really took the time to evaluate who his customer was and found something to talk about with me. Thanks Robert and go huskies. More
I’ve put of writing this review for months, as I believe anyone is capable of making mistakes or having a bad day. My 2016 XC90 has had oil consumption issues for over 20K miles. It took months to quantif anyone is capable of making mistakes or having a bad day. My 2016 XC90 has had oil consumption issues for over 20K miles. It took months to quantify this as the maintenance dept. put me off, then discounted as “normal consumption for age” at 65K miles, then ultimately tested using a parent company algorithm which confirmed the issue. This took roughly four months of repeated returns to the service department pointing out the repeated need for adding motor oil between changes. When all was finally documented, I was informed that I was one of six SUVs the dealership had lined up for a top end engine rebuild. COVID put the brakes on this process as the dealership lost staff and time, putting off the solution/rebuild for another five months while I continued to add a quart of oil every two weeks despite the continuous check engine light on. Finally, after almost a year of dealing with this issue, the day arrived to drop the car off. I was called two weeks prior to this to both set up the date and arrange for all other aspects of the expected weeks w/o my car. Upon arriving (on time) for my appointment I was greeted by Robert, my service rep, who apologized for “forgetting” that I was coming and informing me that they actually had no loaner car available. The dealership is located 40 minutes from my home, I’d rearranged plans to take my car in, they called ME two weeks prior to make sure all the pieces were in place, and I stood at the counter while Robert asked me if I wanted to come back later that afternoon. I love the car, it drives great, looks great, performs great. However, heaven help you if your Volvo develops a problem (at least here in Jacksonville, FL). At that point, your luxury SUV money gets you, at best, economy service. This is the last Volvo I will own. More
I'll start by saying, once you are there, the people and service are decent. However, being the only Volvo dealer in Jacksonville, they are very, very busy. You MUST schedule anything and everything MONTHS service are decent. However, being the only Volvo dealer in Jacksonville, they are very, very busy. You MUST schedule anything and everything MONTHS in advance. Seriously, don't wait until a light is on to schedule your maintenance because it will be 2 months before you can get an appointment. Also, the sales guys gloat about their great pick up and drop off service...good luck getting an appointment for that!!! Better book that service at least 3 months in advance! I never had an issue getting the same pick up/drop off service last minute at Audi. Lastly, don't even bother trying to get someone on the phone. It usually takes me at least 3 calls before anyone in service answers the phone. All in all, I 100% regret purchasing a Volvo because of the terrible service. More
