Deceptive Buisness Practices I was conned into paying $300 for service fees on a leased vehicle that did not require them in order for the vehicle to be turned in. This was done u I was conned into paying $300 for service fees on a leased vehicle that did not require them in order for the vehicle to be turned in. This was done under the guise of being required so that I could potentially buy out my leased car. This is deceptive sales practices . Avoid this place at all cost More
Months of miscommunication I would leave zero stars if it would let me. Bought a 2015 Golf TDI at the end of April 2017 when they were released again. They sold the car to us wi I would leave zero stars if it would let me. Bought a 2015 Golf TDI at the end of April 2017 when they were released again. They sold the car to us without working touch screen module and we were told to come back that following Tuesday, we'd have a loaner for the day and they'd fix the issue. Tuesday comes around, no loaner available, no knowledge of me coming in that morning..etc. After being an hour and half late to work, they are able to locate a loaner that was "tucked away." Great! Call Allen back later that day to check on the car, he says it's done, so I pick it up after work. Get there, they tell me I have to come back again because the issue is not fixed and they have to special order a part. He continues to twist the story and not give us a straight answer or explain what is wrong. Service manager gets involved and clarifies what the service department is unable to explain. After leaving the dealership almost in tears, a few phone calls back and fourth between my husband and the manager, stories are constantly changing. Fast forward a month, the special order part being manufactured in Germany is going to take longer than expected. Service department manager does what he can to mend the issue and the inconvenience which was greatly appreciated. The main issue was not the part or the fact that the touch screen wasn't functional. The main issue is the lack of communication, customer service, respect, the constant changing of stories that they would give us as well as their inability to follow through with things. Fast forward ANOTHER month, I was promised a full tank of diesel after the module was (finally) replaced and received my car back with less than 1/4 tank. (Not a big deal but again, lack of follow through and excuses of nobody telling them to do so.) Went to the dealer today to pick up paperwork and get a full tank, which took an hour to accomplish, as well as two different stories as to why it took so long. Not to mention the fact I then missed an appointment during this wait. The visit ended with the porter telling me to "come back any time for a car wash." No thank you, that would probably take all day anyway. From now on will be getting any routine maintenance or any other work done with Tom Bush VW, solely for the lack of competence at O'Steen. Also, huge thanks to Volkswagen of America for their kind staff and case managers who spend their days cleaning up messes like this. More

The process took 3+ months, most of which was waiting for the car to be built. I worked with Engels in internet sales throughout the order/purchase process and a little bit with Eddie in finance at the end. I highly recommend them and O'Steen VW overall to anyone who is looking for a professional, transparent, and low-pressure transaction. I am a picky customer when it comes to new cars. The configuration I wanted for my GTI (2-door, S w/performance, lighting package) was apparently very uncommon and I wanted to custom order it from VW. I contacted 4-5 VW dealers and although they were all highly attentive initially, all of them--except O'Steen VW--proceeded to ignore my requests the second I told them I wanted a custom build instead of a vehicle they had sitting on their lots. I am also meticulous when it comes to numbers. I like to have the relevant figures (price, dealer fees, tag/title fees, APR, etc.) all laid out well before sitting down and signing anything. I also like communicating through e-mail because it saves time and creates a "paper" trail. Engels worked with me patiently throughout the 3-month long order and build process, keeping in touch over email and text, not once trying to pressure me into a "similar" vehicle they had on lot instead of the one I actually wanted. He and Eddie were also very transparent when it came to pricing--there were no surprises when I finally picked up my car. Ordering a car instead of buying one off the lot can be a double-edged sword. Although you get the exact car you want, it is conceivable that the dealer will try to squeeze some extra profit due to your attachment to that particular car. After all, the whole premise of negotiating is based on your willingness to walk to another dealership for a similar car--not exactly easy when you waited 3+ months for a car with an uncommon configuration. Upon ordering, I was told by O'Steen VW that I would be given the best price possible whenever the car arrives. I was hesitant but ultimately very satisfied that they kept their promise. All my research (VW forums, TrueCar, Edmunds TMV) indicated that my final purchase price was a great deal. Finally, I'd like to note that I live about 150 miles from O'Steen VW. Thus, there are about 4 or 5 VW dealers that are significantly closer to me than they are. However, because of my experiences stated above, I would not hesitate to travel twice that distance or more. Truly an exceptional business. More

Went to dealer for ride issue on brand new 2012 VW Golf TDI, The service MGR rode in the car he said he felt the problem. After working on on this issue 4 times they come to the conclusion that it was "nor TDI, The service MGR rode in the car he said he felt the problem. After working on on this issue 4 times they come to the conclusion that it was "normal" for a manual shift diesel to shimmy at certain speeds. Also Had to take my car to independent tire dealer to have my Tires rebalanced each of the four times that they worked on it. After the first oil change I found my car with an oil puddle in the pan that covers the bottom of the engine, The nut for the filter was rounded off, And I was told that NOBODY cleans the dirt from around or under the filler cap. It also took three times of taking my car to this dealer to get a simple washer nozzel service bulletin repaired. Funny that that in my 30 years of driving manual diesels I've never noticed this, Or in the other two 2012 Golf TDI's that I Have driven. I must really be that idiot after all. More
