unprofessional service managers i took my equinox which i leased almost three years ago in for its annual service. i had made an appointment the day before online. i must say thatlea i took my equinox which i leased almost three years ago in for its annual service. i had made an appointment the day before online. i must say thatleasing the car was a good experience in general. everyone was very nice and helpful. i like the equinox so much that i have decided to but it when the lease is up in a month, but the weak link in their business is the service managers.two out of three visits for service i had RUDE, CONDESENDING, ARROGANT JERKS who should never ever have a job dealing with peoiple. the issue is not what they say, but how they say it. the work that was performed was fine (i assume) becuse i did not see what was done. i just take their word that they did everything correctly. also the serivce manager tried to upsell me to clean the fuel delivery system at 14,500 miles. also the air filter on the heat and ac system. all for around 300 bucks. any fool can read the service maintenance schedule as know this is not neccesary. so while the leasing/ buying experience was ok, ( they are car sales you know), i will never take my car back to them again. if the management reads this, i hope they are smart enough to fire the idiot servic emanagers and hire and trasin them to respect theircustomers. From one to five stars on one visit! I own three GM vehicles including C7 Corvette Stingray Z51! Originally I had a good service consultant and the speed and quality of work was excellent. He left and I was assigned to a person that possessed little knowledge of vehicles and how warranties worked. I had to call warrantee companies myself to secure coverage. She took her time returning calls (never or 1-2 days). At request I have been assigned to Tommy Bernath. I was treated with the highest respect, he was knowledgeable and got my vehicle in and out with oil change and diagnostics quicker than I’ve ever experienced! I am a strong believer in that the quality of your service is greatly dictated by the quality of the service consultant as the better mechanics prefer working for him and it’s great to be treated as though your business is important. Great job Tommy! More
Terrible Repair I took my car here last year for overheating and about a month later it was still overheating. I called and they told me "cars overheat, it's normal". I took my car here last year for overheating and about a month later it was still overheating. I called and they told me "cars overheat, it's normal". Just recently I took a trip to California and my car was overheating and shaking so bad I had to pull off of the road. I called (because the repair is under warranty) to see if I could get it checked out and they told me is $90 to get it checked out if it ends up not being the part that they fixed. IF I WENT IN FOR OVERHEATING WHY DIDN'T THEY FIX EVERYTHING THAT WAS WRONG WITH IT? They're trying to tell me that within the month that I took it in to get it fixed, something else broke that is also causing my car to overheat? The last time I took my car I had to go back two more times and wait 7 HOURS (when they said it'd take 2). ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE, AWFUL PLACE. More

Horrible customer service Don’t ever go here for services, especially if you’re a woman. I brought my car here because it wouldn’t start and was advised by Ray Garcia that the Don’t ever go here for services, especially if you’re a woman. I brought my car here because it wouldn’t start and was advised by Ray Garcia that the battery was dead and they wouldn’t be able to run diagnostics until replaced. I found this odd, since I had just purchased the battery from Autozone less than a month ago. Nonetheless, I needed my car to get back and forth to work, so I authorized them replacing the battery but asked that he hold on to the old one, as I had a warranty on it. Two days later, Ray tells me that the reason my car wouldn’t start was because my car wasn’t recognizing the key fob, which was activating the anti theft system and disabling the car. He advised that he could order me a new key fob but it had to be ordered and would take 3-4 business days to be delivered. I declined as I had just got the key fob from a locksmith 6 months ago and also had a warranty on it. I told Ray that I would be having my vehicle pulled from the dealership the following morning, as I couldn’t afford to be without a vehicle any longer. I arrived the next morning with a truck and a few friends to help pull the vehicle. After I paid, I verified with Ray that my old battery was with my vehicle. Ray asked what brand the battery was, which I told him a Duralast Gold and he went to check for the battery. He returned with AAA battery, and told me that was the only battery in the back. I repeated that my old battery was a Duralast Gold and to his surprise, I had the receipt for that purchase which I provided to him. 20 minutes later Ray confirmed that they “lost” my battery and that he would have to speak with a manager to get it figured out and he would give me a call that following Monday. At this point, my friend was able to pull the vehicle to the locksmith to get the key fob replaced. Imagine my surprise, when the locksmith tells me that the key fob is replaced and working but the car battery is dead. The battery that I just paid almost $300 for that morning. I call Ray to let him know this and his response was not an apology for the inconvenience but an accusation of “maybe there’s something else draining the battery.” What did I pay a diagnostic fee for? If there was something else draining my battery, why wouldn’t you let me know this BEFORE you put in another battery? He was very condescending and advised that if I’m able to get the car back to them, they may be able to fix it that day. When I get the car back to the dealership, he again stated that the battery was covered but if there’s anything shorting out the battery, it would be my responsibility. Both myself and my friend asked what the diagnostic fee was for if it’s not going to diagnose a problem especially with the part that they replaced. His response was because I didn’t let them complete the work of replacing my key fob, they couldn’t completely diagnose my car. Turns out the “new” battery they put in was indeed a bad battery. I will never go here again, and had made sure that I let everyone that I know of my experience. Ray was extremely rude to both myself and my friend, who is also a woman, when we inquired on how the battery could have died so quickly. When I told him that I couldn’t afford to not have a vehicle to get me to work, he was very callous and indifferent about it. He didn’t offer to rent me a car, until the car can be fixed,as this had already been a three day long ordeal. But as soon as he saw my friend’s husband and brother in law, his entire demeanor changed. He was helpful and listened when they explained how they battery couldn’t hold a charge long enough to roll down the car windows. He told them that he would get it fixed right away. And it wasn’t even their car! If you are a woman, especially if you’re unfamiliar with cars and don’t have any male friends. Stay clear of O’reilly Chevrolet. More

After being promised by 2 different people that I would get the test drive to see if the car was something I would be interested in, I was told that I would not be able to test drive the car. In the end all that was accomplished was the blatant wasting over an hour of my time where I was constantly pushed to buy a car with O'rielly. I was blatantly disrespected by the sales staff who spoke about me in Spanish amongst each other while I was sitting at the desk with them. The salesman seemed to know little to nothing about the car except what he could read on the window sticker and seemed more interested in making me buy the car, which did not fit any of my needs, than helping me make an informed decision. Not to mention the total lack of quality development, design or quality of the GM vehicles i had the opportunity to look at. This atrocious lack of knowlege, customs and courtesies makes me embarrassed to own a GM vehicle and has deterred me from wanting to do business with O'Rielly's or any other GM dealership. If I could I would give my transaction 0/5 stars. More
Overpriced a truck even after I confirming it was less. I was just about ready to buy a 2018 Z71 truck here. It was a clean and new truck, I get that this truck is worth more than the same used truck so i knew that I was going to pay a little more; but when the numbers were presented to me, I couldn't sign. The truck was presented to me at $48k when I told the salesman that banks priced it at $36k MAX, given the miles and bells and whistles included. I walked in knowing that I was going to pay more but I was not willing to pay $12k more when they already had a $11k "discount" on it. I tried to let them know where I was coming from, letting them know that I was willing to pay more but they didn't want to make the sale. The next day, I was in Phoenix signing for a 2019 Silverado 4x4 LT for $46k out the door. More
