Unexpected Day at the Dealership After having some “not so good” experiences with my previous dealership, I came into O’Neil this morning for an oil change and to test drive a car sin After having some “not so good” experiences with my previous dealership, I came into O’Neil this morning for an oil change and to test drive a car since my lease was soon coming to an end. Eric met me in service and offered to help me with the test drive. He was very accommodating and super friendly and made me feel very comfortable. The test drive went great, loved the car! But the best part, I never felt I was being”sold”. The process was so easy and actually fun! So, that being said, I hope to have a long and happy relationship with O’Neil Nissan as I drive away in my new car today! :) More

Both the body shop and the the service department went over the truck. They all but told me "don't buy this vehicle". When I returned the truck to the used car dealer he all but clasped. Why go anywhere else? I have been purchasing cars from O'Neil's for over 30 years. There have been little cars (Pulsar), there have been big ones (Armada), there have been I have been purchasing cars from O'Neil's for over 30 years. There have been little cars (Pulsar), there have been big ones (Armada), there have been fast ones (Maxima) and fuel efficient ones (Altima). Throw in a couple of Quests when the kids were little and a Murano when they got bigger. It did not matter which one, they all ran great and if there was a problem they fixed it fast and reasonable. A couple of employees are extra great in going far and above the expected level of service, but they are all friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I get prompt and fair deals when I buy and when it you take your car for regular service, they back it up no matter what. All this along with a smile and a hello every time I arrive. Let me see, next I'll have to buy a pick up....... Mike F More
From sales to service always a great and friendly attitude. Recently had an issue where I believe the paint was dinged during service and the service manager Tom OKowlski made it right. He corrected the problem in an efficient and timely manner. I still stand behind my choice to drive the almost 1.5 hour for the service and leave those central NJ Nissan dealers in the dust. I highly recommend O'Neil Nissan if you are in the market for a new or used Nissan or simply need a new car. Run don't walk!!!!! More
Love the Rouge, love the deal...not sure about the service. Brought my 2012 Rouge in for thr 7,500 service on May 06th. When the vehicle was returned, I paid for the service but noticed on the bac service. Brought my 2012 Rouge in for thr 7,500 service on May 06th. When the vehicle was returned, I paid for the service but noticed on the back up worksheet the remarks that "Rec Tire Rotation" and that the "Brakes were not checked", all part of the 7,500 service. Brought this to the advisors attention. She checked and told mme that the "mechanic wrote the worksheet before he noticed that it was a 7,500 mile service" and assurred me that all the work was done as required. I wish I could feel confident that the work was done, but, just not sure. Why would you write up a work sheet and specifically note that work that shpould have been done was not done? More
Service Engine Soon light came on in my 2004 Nissan Quest. The diagnostic was run by a local independent service station, code was P0744 - torque converter clutch solenoid intermittent ($54). They do not do transmission work and recommended it be taken to a dealer. Based on the reviews on DealerRater.com, I took the car to O'Neil Nissan and explained that the situation and that the transmission seemed to be slipping during shifting. Fred Jankowski stated that they would need to run another diagnostic as they didn't accept the diagnosis of any other On Board Diagnostic reader and that, as their equipment cost $5,000, it would be the best $60 I could spend ($65 after taxes). The result was the same and they stated the car needed a solenoid kit. The kit was installed and the result was that the car behaved exactly the same as when I took it in. When questioned, Fred told me that the complaint was only the light was on and that was fixed. I reminded him that anyone could turn the light off and that the car would need to be driven to repopulate any error codes. He then told me that the tech said the transmission fluid was black and burned and that I would need a new transmission. I know this is untrue as after the initial diagnosis, the first thing I did was to check the level of the fluid and it appeared the normal red color. He said there was nothing more he could do and I should contact Tom Olkowski, the Service Manager. I left a voice mail for Tom (12/23/11)and have not yet received a return call (1/16/12). I took the car for a drive the next day and the Service Engine Soon light came back on. I took the car back, they performed the diagnostics again and got the same code (P0744) and also a new code of P0420 catalytic converter (I assume a sensor was either damaged or left disconnected during the previous service). I was again told that the transmission would need to be replaced. Fred was surprised that Tom hadn't returned my call but that Tom would be in the following day and I could talk to him then. I returned and spoke to Tom Chester who told me that Tom Olkowski was not in and would be on vacation the entire week. My recommendation would be to stay as far away from this dealer as possible. I have also lodged complaints with Nissan USA (who provided no help at all)and the Better Business Bureau (who O'Neil has yet to respond to (1/16/12)). More
