20,000 mile service and warranty fix I called for an appointment and Adam got me in the next day. He arranged for a ride home and got the car serviced and the minor issue fixed quickly an I called for an appointment and Adam got me in the next day. Worst imaginable service ever We drove our Volkswagen Beetle (which we have only had 1 month with 19 thousand miles on it) from Phoenix AZ. Car ran beautifully. 2 days later on o We drove our Volkswagen Beetle (which we have only had 1 month with 19 thousand miles on it) from Phoenix AZ. Car ran beautifully. 2 days later on our way up to Blackhawk the check engine light came on and the car kinda sputtered. I called the closest dealership to our hotel which happened to be Omera Tim in service said to let the car sit overnight and it would probably reset itself. Probably altitude he gets these calls all the time. The next day the light was off and seem to be running great. Well 2 hours later it died on us and had to get towed to Omeara Volkswagen. Then the nightmare begins. They gave us a loaner car but not able to take it out of the state. Found out that the part that was broke was not available in the United States and no eta. We paid an extra 700 for hotel for 3 more nights and still no ETA. No more money for us to get another hotel no car to drive home just stuck in CO. I spoke with GM of dealership explaining our situation. Asked is we could get a renter car to drive home to Phoenix since all under warranty or if they would tow our car home since under warranty. Explained we are retired on s fixed income and had no more money. He said he understood but they were a independent company and they had no money to give us a rental to get home. He was very a condescending and arrogant. Every time I spoke he would speak over me. He pretty much stated do what you have to do. Unfortunately we had to pay another 800 to rent a uhaul and tow our car home ourselves. When we went to get the car they had it sitting out front with keys in it and did not even come out to help us hook the car up to the uhaul. I do not blame the dealership for our car breaking down but I do blame them for not helping us get s renter car they Volkswagen to get us home For the horrific attitude the GM had. We now are back home our car is in a wonderful dealership in AZ. They gave us a loaner vehicle until our car is fixed Not to Mention wonderful customer service. More
