I went to Omeara to buy a new F150. I had been emailing a sales person for a week and gave them what I could afford and wanted to trade. I did my research and was prepaired when I arrived. By the way I w a sales person for a week and gave them what I could afford and wanted to trade. I did my research and was prepaired when I arrived. By the way I would at a motorcycle dealership and have worked in cars dealers for 15 years. I arrived and had to wait 30minutes for my sales person. After a test ride I told him I would like to talk price. We haggled back and forth and came to a very comfortable price. Then a person claiming to be the finance manager came to me and asked how I would be paying for the running boards, I informed him that it was part of the negotiated price of the vehicle. He then asked me how I would be paying the tax's! At this point I was done and wanted my keys for the vehicle I was traiding in. Now the sales manager came to me and asked told me they where sorry and it was a mistake that the tax's where included but the running boards where not and I would have to pay for them. I said ok, I want the truck and I would like to get it. I went to finance and did all the paperwork, signed to contract. When I came out I asked my sales person for my license and he gave it to me. Then the sales manager gal came and asked if I would give them a perfect score on the CSI sheet when contacted, I said no that I could not because I did not like the service they gave me and I would not refure any one to them. They told me they could not sell me a vehicle and tore the contract up and asked me to leave! More
Lies Lies Lies. I went to look for a used car, and explained everything to the salesman working with me. First of all, when you go to their website to look at their cars - you have to put in an em explained everything to the salesman working with me. First of all, when you go to their website to look at their cars - you have to put in an email address and phone number to move forward, then you can look at the cars they have available online. Once you've done this you will receive endless calls from the dealership until you come in. Once I go there the salesman who deals with "Online Sales" found me. I talked about what I could afford, and then he showed me their terrible selection. I told him that they didn't have anything I wanted in my price range and attempted to leave. As I was leaving, John (the salesman) pulls up in a beautiful 2008 Ford Focus and yells "This is IT!" I did get excited because he had actually found a car that I wanted, I asked if it was in my price range and he said "yeah yeah" and we took it for a test drive. I loved the car, and decided I wanted to buy it - that was when they tried barter with me, trying to get me to pay upwards of $16,000!!!! FOR A USED FOCUS! I told him that was out of my price range and attempted to talk him down. Long story long, I got him to 12,000 and bought the car (out of my price range) They gave me such a run around I thought I had gotten a good deal. When I got home, I went back to their website to look at the ad for my car. THERE IT WAS - listed for 10,500 - same VIN number and everything. The next day I called and yelled at them, and insisted on some items that did not come with the car because they had tricked me. They followed through - but I will NEVER visit this dealership again. They made me feel like a fool! More

I went in to purchase a brand new 2011 Ford Escape on xplan. I filled out a Ford finance application which the dealer said they ran. Come to find out they did NOT run the app although they told me I qu xplan. I filled out a Ford finance application which the dealer said they ran. Come to find out they did NOT run the app although they told me I qualified for Teir 1 credit at 1.9%. I was suspicious of this quick turn around and investigated. I only qualified for a 5.9% rate. This is a scam that dealers run with customers - they tell them they are approved for a rate, have you purchase the vehicle then you find out that the rate is several points higher after you have driven the car. In this situation the new car has been driven and the dealer wants you to pay for use of the vehicle if you seek to cancel your purchase. Be vary wary of these sales tactics as it appears Omeara will promise the sun and stars, lure you away from a more honest dealer, and then hit you with a retroactive higher interest rate. Do your home work! If the dealer is promising something that sounds too good to be true it probably is. Omeara also fails to waive as high of a percentage on dealer fees when purchasing through xplan, so shop around. I would recommend Sil Ter Har over Omeara any day. More
Absolutely the worst dealership I have Ever ever dealt with. Unprofessional, Sexist, rude condescending arrogant used car sales men. Long story short I was there helping a friend that got suckered into a with. Unprofessional, Sexist, rude condescending arrogant used car sales men. Long story short I was there helping a friend that got suckered into a used car that at best was worth 14k and ended up with a loan for over 30k. They took advantage of him being a little slow and they knew they could sucker him. 15 days later they call and say he cannot get financed. We take the car back that they sold as is and they say he caused damage that was clearly done previous to his purchase of the vehicle. I mean seriously it would have had to have a new paint job (which obviously did before as we had it looked at by a body shop) It wasnt anything that most could see so he was ok with it and never had intentions of taking it back as he did buy it as is. However some dude with S&P hair (didnt give us a name but I believe this was Joseph) came over and said" So my manager wants to know what happened to Blah blah) And i said that was there when he bought the car. He rudely said oh no i can have my manager come over here, so i said gladly bring him over i would love to chat with him. So his Manager Dewane came over condescending and arrogant as ever and said " so whats the question" lol dude your the one with the question. I said your asking about damage that was there when he bought and of course oh no it wasn't he bought the car and it wasn't like that. Whatever, so i pointed out the facts that the door had been painted previously and some other details that only people with clear vision could see. He asked if i was calling him a liar and i said yes because your lying. He responded as any immature arrogant sexist person would " I don't have to take this I want my money" and walked off. SO i asked for his manager and of course wouldn't you know it at first he would be right with me, then he was upstairs and then oops guess he's not there now" imagine that. They clearly only want to line their pockets and customer service is not their forte nor is being anyone with respect for themselves. I would never recommend them. Another friend of mine took his truck in for service, when he got it back it had a huge grease footprint on his carpet, the hood wasn't latched so while he was driving it popped open, and when he called all they could say was, well i don't know how that could have happened. Liars out the wazoo there and just because I'm a girl they thought they could pull the wool over my eyes. Please DO NOT use this dealership. They will screw you for everything and try to take advantage of anyone anywhere. More
WORST buying experience ever!! Was quoted one price, then later told that they had given me the incorrect price and the actual price was almost $5000 more than the orginal price I was quoted. I told them I w later told that they had given me the incorrect price and the actual price was almost $5000 more than the orginal price I was quoted. I told them I was not interested in that price, so they said they would go ahead and honor the original price quoted. I was excited because I thought they were being honorable! HA! I called my husband to bring the down payment and sign the paperwork, they told him the second price. We finally brought them back down to the original price again. They had just received the car on trade the day before, so agreed that I could bring it back for an oil change and wash/detail. The next day, I went back to have the work done. They kept me sitting in the waiting room for 5 1/2 hours with a 3 year old and a 4 month old (who was recovering from surgery). Never offered me a ride home or a loaner car. Finally told me my car was ready and I went to load my kids in the car, and I pulled out a rock the size of my fist from under the seat. They clearly had not detailed the car. I sent it back 4-yes FOUR-times to have it vacuumed properly (another hour and a half of my itme wasted). When I got home, I realized there was white dog hair on the back of the 3rd row seats that had been folded down. Took it back again the next day and demanded to stand over them and watch to see that they vacuumed the car out. Meanwhile, while we were trying to get the car insured, come to find out they had put the wrong VIN number on all the paperwork. Not just a few numbers mixed up-they had the whole thing wrong! So, my husband had to go back in to re-sign paperwork which they did not have ready when they said they would. Also, in the sale agreement they agreed to replace the windshield which had a small chip in it. When I called to set up the work, they tried to renig and say they were only going to seal the chip. I would NEVER recommend O'Meara and wish I would have done more research on their business practices before making my purchase. As it was, I was in a bind to get a new vehicle and ended up settling for where I bought. More
I filed a complaint with this dealer rater because I had a dissagreement with the service department. We have now reached an agreement that I am satisifed with, and I have no further issues with Omeara Ford a dissagreement with the service department. I wish I had never even stopped at this dealership!! This was probably the worst experience of my life. I was looking for a "beater" SUV. I had $4000 cash to spend was not going to trade-in my vehicle. Basic was probably the worst experience of my life. I was looking for a "beater" SUV. I had $4000 cash to spend was not going to trade-in my vehicle. Basically I was looking for a 3rd car to haul my dogs and get me thru the snow if it got really bad. When I got to O'Mears I was greeted by Carlos, who it turns out is not the "sharpest tool in the shed" to put it politely. I told him what I was looking for and he says "Ok great, we got just what you are looking for" he asked for my drivers license so we could test drive. He then takes me to a car with a sticker price of $16,000!!! I said..."wait a minute I told you I have $4000 to spend". Carlos' responce to me was "Oh dont worry we will work with you just drive it". So we went for a test drive and the car was OK. It needed an alignment and had a "clunking" sound under the drivers feet. When we got back to the dealership Carlos asked for my car keys to my original vehicle so "he could get me a great trade-in price". Well that was a mistake!! Carlos comes back in and brings over a sheet of paper that has some numbers on it...He said they could get me financed at a great rate and low monthly payments. So I toyed with the idea for a while and ended up getting pressured into a car deal that I was not ready to commit to. In the process Carlos wanted to "show his manager how serious" I was and asked for on of my credit cards that had the $4000 on in. I refused to give it to him, told him that was ridiculous and he got in my face. I felt so uncomfortable and pressured I just gave it to him. I ended up signing all the paperwork that night (unfortunatly) and they gave me a "loaner" car so they could do the alignment and fix the rattle underneath the car I was apparently buying. Well the loaner car they gave me didn't start the next morning! That gave me horrible confidence in the vehicle I was purchasing. I went back to the dealership and told them I wanted out of the deal, which should not have been a problem as I had not even taken possession of the vehicle. They got Richard a manager for me to talk to. He told me that I was stuck with the vehicle, I signed all the paperwork and there was no way to let me out of it. He said that I had already been approved thru the financing company and they had recieved payment from the financing company. He then proceded to tell me that he wished he could let me out of the deal because one of the sales guys had a friend that wanted to buy the car for more than I had paid...A friend of mine who works for a finance company said I should have been able to get out of the deal for the simple fact that i didn't take possession of the vehicle...I do not know if that is true or not. I asked my friend to speak with Richard since that stuff was a little over my head I assumed he would know what to say better than me. So I called my friend and gave the phone to Richard they began arguing...Richard hung up the on my frined and told me "I am done helping you, you need to get the f*^% out of here". So I took the keys to the new car and left. Well come to find out 4 days later they still have not found me a bank that will take on the loan and I am not approved yet...So they have my trade-in vehicle (I hope) and I have this vehicle that is not financed yet. All in all I would never send someone to this dealership, they are all lyers and as crooked as they come...I hope this all works out for me!! Wish me luck and don't ever make the mistake I made of going to this dealership!! O'Mears SUCKS!!! More
Yesterday, my mother and I drove past O'Meara dealership on our way to Mike Shaw Subaru. Due to the automobile auction, the Mike Shaw Subaru dealership did not have very many cars that fit our budget. The g on our way to Mike Shaw Subaru. Due to the automobile auction, the Mike Shaw Subaru dealership did not have very many cars that fit our budget. The guy we were working with let us go and we ended up going to NGL, where we were also told we would be unable to buy a car to fit our $3000 budget. We decided to try O'Meara, since it was a rather large, and well maintained looking dealership. We were shown a Chrysler Sebring, and a couple other cars, that we were told would not run over $3500. After we did a test run on the Sebring, we decided that if they could give us a good deal on the car, then we would take it. The man we were working with took us inside to talk figures. He took out this sheet of paper, and out of nowhere, told us the list value for the car is $9888, even though the car had a respectable amount of cosmetic damage. He said that, hypothetically, we worked the price down to $4000 and asked us if that was a reasonable price. My mother assured him that $3000 was our budget, and we were unable to spend any more since we needed to pay the car in cash. He took the price down to $3500, then $3250, and since my mother and I kept saying no, he asked what price we wanted for the car. We told him, flat out, that we were going to pay $3000 even though we had already stated that several times. He then said all right, and told my mother he needed to take her credit card to verify that we did have a "means of payment". Well, after he left with my mother's credit card, a second man came by with the same sheet and told us that we were offering too little for the car. He said that his "boss" would only let us take 4k or so off the list price, making the FINAL price of the car $5260. We said that was absolutely out of our budget, so he tried to offer the car to us for $4000. At this point, my mother realized that they took her credit card and did a credit check, and saw that since my parents both have good credit, they would try to get away with charging us more. After we told the second guy absolutely not, he left. After waiting around for a few more minutes, a third man came to our table. He reeked of cigarettes and was wearing blue jeans and a ski jacket. He tried making small talk with us for a while before leaving and grabbing a sheet of paper that he printed off the dealership's database. He showed us that the dealership valued the car at around $4200. It wouldn't have been so hilarious if he didn't just blatantly prove to my mother and I that the other two employees had been lying to us the entire time about the value of the car. He told us that he could possibly get us the car for $3700, but he'd be doing us a "huge favor". At this point, my mother was so furious she just wanted to get her credit card and leave, so she kept politely asking for her card back. He was refusing and begging us to work with him because our business is apparently extremely valuable to them. She and I walked up to the front desk and asked for our credit card, where he continually begged us to work with him. We walked out, and the first man that showed us the car and offered us the price of $3500 ran out of the dealership and chased us to our vehicle, and said he would "honor" our $3500. We said no, and when we got home we were met with a message begging us to come back to the dealership, where we can get the car for $3000. Don't ever give these crooks your business. More
