My husband and I recently purchased a CRV at O'Donnell. We had test driven a similar vehicle at another Honda dealership and liked it, but had such an unpleasant experience with the high pressure sales pit We had test driven a similar vehicle at another Honda dealership and liked it, but had such an unpleasant experience with the high pressure sales pitch there that we were determined not to buy from them. Our transaction at O'Donnell was the complete opposite. Mike was a pleasure to do buisness with and I would certainly be happy to send any friends looking for a new vehicle his way. I need to explain to Mr Odonnell himself (if there is a Mr. Odonnell) how utterly pleased I am at every aspect of my transaction with your company and staff. Let me explain myself as best as possible short of being able to tell you in person. Here is my best account. When I first saw my vehicle at the service shop I knew it was for me. The young man responsible for the cleaning and detailing of my car should be commended for his efforts. My CRV, even tho it is a 2006, was absolutely stunningly clean throughout. Weeks have passed and many comments continue at how beatifully clean my vehicle is. I attribute its beauty to that skilled person who attended to my CRV in your detail shop. Next, my salesman Kenny, was wonderfull throughout my entire purchase as well as my subsequent encounters post purchase. He helped me resolve a couple of issues with a scratch and a taillight on my CRV and i was impressed with the professional and helpfull attitude that he continually displayed long after I had signed "on the dotted line". Once again I want to commend another on your staff, who's name eludes me. The very pleasant woman I refer to was very helpfull in assisting me with my loan application from Honda of America. She was very well versed at her job skills and I was impressed with her kind demeanor especially since it was late at night, the store had closed and most had gone home for the evening. Everything worked out smoothly and efficiantly and we were all on the road home (me in a new car!) in no time at all. I would like to request that you officially commend each of these three employees to let them know that they are truly valued and appreciated by me, the everyday consumer. More

I went to O'Donnell Honda to purchase my new Honda, And WOW what a great experience. I have purchased many new cars in the past, And this one was definitely the best.. Very Professional, NO GAMES. I went there to check out a used Acura TL. The car obviously had an accident. The sales person did not want to admit that. He raised his voice and said he inspected the car and it had no accident. I pointed out the gaps between the hood and the grille were not the same width on both sides. He said the gaps were even. I did not brother to tell him that the hood was repainted. Our interaction with this dealership was strictly through e-mail. The initial communications were cordial, but changed after we informed the sales person we were interested in the CARS rebate. In any case, we received two "non-CARS eligible" quotes for the same car, one week apart. (Each quote is valid for only 3 days.) The second quote was over $700 more than the first. Neither quote provided details, such as the options included, making it difficult to compare quotes from other dealerships. At the end, we bought from Heritage Honda of Parkville - they were the complete opposite ... high ratings, pleasant to work with, provided a detailed quote with ample time to respond, and came in over $700 less. They damaged my car swapping out a part. They lefts gouges on the body taking out chunks of paint. This was pointed out before I even drove off the lot. The Service rep tried to play it off. The service manager would not apoligize or take blame. He tells me that his mechanic said that the marks were there already. Then changes the story a few minutes later. Throwing in that maybe he did damage it but didn't notice. Which is highly unlikely. Unless the person was blind. Furtheremore, he talked down to me as if talking to a child. Then proceed to tell me take him to court if I dared. I was tempted. Considering the amount of trouble they were giving and his attitude I was really tempted.. Avoid this lousy dealership full of liars, incompetent service personel, and hostile workers. More

After leasing my vehicle and taking it home, I have been lied to by the salesman regarding his supervisor, and ignored by both the new car manager and the general manager of the dealership. I was given false information by the salesman the day I got my car. Had I been given accurate information the day I went into the dealership regarding insurance coverage, there is a possibility I would not have gotten the model of car I got. I explicitly requested information regarding insurance coverage, and was given misinformation. I would not have minded had I been told "I don't know the answer to your question." (This was what was told to me after I sent several emails requesting the information). Instead I relied on the false misrepresentation of the salesman, and now have extra monthly expenses that I did not factor into (but would have liked to have been able to) for my new car. I specifically asked if I neede full coverage, or what type of coverage I would need for a lease because I was under the impression I needed complete coverage. (I am from a different state, and was unaware of how MD insurance coverage worked in regards to leasing). Instead of relying on myself, I stupidly listened to the salesman. I pulled up my account insurance information at his desk, showed him the coverage I had, and he said it would be fine. My issues are 1) I was given misinformation and then 2) when I gave the salesman a chance to remedy it, he was rude and lied to me about his supervisor. When I explained the situation to his real direct supervisorvia email, he ignored me. When I explained the situation to the dealership's general manager, he ignored me. I don't care about paying extra money for insurance. It's fine. The problem I have is that I was treated wonderfully, until I drove off the lot, with my contract signed. Then, it was as if I was never their customer. More
Been going to this dealership for nearly 5 years for service. Haven't had a lot to complain about. Waiting area is clean, has good amenities and now provides Internet connection. Car (interior) come service. Haven't had a lot to complain about. Waiting area is clean, has good amenities and now provides Internet connection. Car (interior) comes back as clean as it went in (not cleaner unfortunately but hey). And work done has been problem free. Overall a good experience. More
