I bought a brand new car off the lot. During final walkaround, we found a small, but deep dent and scratch along the tailgate. Since we signed all the paperwork, they would not give me a different car. They wouldn't have disclosed it if I didn't point it out. After a number of empty promises, I ended up with shoddy painless dent repair job which looks like it was done by someone's garage and broken taillight. This was 3rd, new Honda I purchased from O'Daniel. Definitely won't be going back anytime soon. UPDATE: was contacted by the General Manager; he would not address the issue either. He was only concerned about this review on Google. He said that his staff and himself do not feel safe when "my kind" is present, and we are no longer welcome at "HIS" store. I'm definitely being treated unfairly because I'm minority. I will be contacting Nebraska DMV, and Honda Corporation over this general manager. More

Honda an O'Daniel are aware of this problem with Honda vehicles knowing full well rodents like to chew on the soy based covered wires. At any point your vehicle can lose its steering or its brakes because the wires fail. And yet they go on selling Honda's to customers not caring about the cost to the customer or the customers safety. Kevin Nichols More
Received a recall repair notice for my Ridgeline. No Concern For Customer Safety On 7/25 my wife and I visited O'Daniel Honda, it wasn't a great experience. When we got there we mentioned we'd been working with Mark Johnson (who did a good job by the way). We were asked to wait for Ryan to 'wrap up with his current customer' with the implication the wait wouldn't be very long. We ended up waiting for over 20 minutes to then talk to Greg; not great. We then took a test-drive with Greg who was okay. We ended up not purchasing a CR-V from O'Daniel, I'll go into why below. We went into this car search pretty certain we'd purchase a CR-V, my wife has wanted a CR-V for several years. After working with Mark and getting a great deal we'd planned on doing a test drive, it'd been a few years since she did her last test drive, and then buy the car on Monday. Unfortunately, from the minute we arrived it was abundantly clear the dealership's focus wasn't on the community's nor on the customer's safety. There was nobody wearing a mask, other than us, at O'Daniel. Nobody. In the middle of a pandemic. Nobody. When we went on the test drive with Greg he made a few cracks about being unable to breathe with the mask on. We said nothing; because it doesn't matter you need to wear a mask. More importantly, jokes like that encourage people who legitimately believe mask usage makes breathing significantly more difficult. When we went to both Toyota and Subaru their ENTIRE staff was required to wear masks and were wearing them correctly. COVID-19 is no joke, it is unfortunate O'Daniel Honda doesn't chose to protect its customers, let alone staff, by mandating masks. Hopefully soon there's a vaccine and/or treatment for COVID-19 soon and this will be a moot point. However, until then, if anybody asks me about my car buying experience I'll be making a point to tell them about the lack of concern for the staff and customers at O'Daniel Honda. More
I’m here at O’Daniels getting my Honda Accord serviced. It’s time to buy a new car so I walk into the showroom—-no one approaches me...I flip thru the pages outlining vehicles in a mounted brochure. Still, no one approaches even tho there are several guys in blue company shirts sitting at various places with no customers. This seems to be typical to me as a woman —we aren’t seen as legitimate customers. Guess I won’t be buying a Honda this year. Service dept is always good to work with tho. More

Bought a used car with brand new tires on it. Shortly after buying it we noticed uneven tire wear and took it in. The service contract they sold me for over $3000 does not cover impact damage. They all said this should have been caught on inspection and recommended I call the dealership to try to work something out. Used car sales manager Cris was rude and said there’s no way his guys could make a mistake that big. He talked badly about the mechanics I took the car to and said they probably are telling me there is bigger problems than there are to make commission. When I got frustrated with his unprofessionalism, he stated he would call my place of employment and tell them not to send kids to the schools where I work. I’ve never been treated so poorly by a professional in my life. I emailed the owner Matt O’Daniel and never heard back. More
