I discovered that i had a leaking gas tank on my 2014 Silverado that i bought new at OConnor GMC. I had it towed to their service center in Augusta Me, about 35 miles away. I told them that i also needed Silverado that i bought new at OConnor GMC. I had it towed to their service center in Augusta Me, about 35 miles away. I told them that i also needed an inspection sticker. They called the next day and told me that the gas tank looks good, but the fuel pump needs to be replaced. Plus brakes all around and 2 new tires. They said it should cost just shy of $2800.00. So i told them to do the work. they called me the next day , said it was all done. Barbara Glidden said i have good news and bad news. The good news is it has a inspection sticker on it. The bad news is it will cost $4351.30.She said they replaced the front brakes, 2rotors, 1 pad kit, then replaced rear brakes, 2 rotors, 1 pad kit, 1 caliper, 1 wheel stud, plus 3 new tires. They never called me about all this extra work, which is $1550.00 extra. So i went up 3 days later and paid for it and told them i would pick it up that night. When i picked the truck up it was shaking and vibrating all the way home. I called them the morning to let them about the shaking and vibrating and they told me to bring it in and they would test drive it. So, i took the truck up the following morning and waited in the waiting room from 10:30 to 5:pm. I asked to talk to the service manager to find out what's going on with the truck. The service manager told me that the tires were slipping in the rims because the wheels were so corroded. I checked with 2 tire service stations and they said that is not possible . Because if the tire slips on the rim it would break the bead and get a flat tire. The service manager told me it took 4 hours to clean the corroded rims First of all, they should have cleaned the corroded rims when they put the new tires on, Secondly, i t does not take 4 hours to clean the rims . It should take about 10 minutes to clean a rim. Then they test drove it again and after that they put on 2 left calipers. Then pass me a bill of $250.40 . He said labor was free. I asked him why somebody didn't test drive it the first time? The manager , Ryan duff told me the guy finished it up kind of late and didn't have time to test drive it. The truck had been sitting in O'Connors yard for 3 days before i picked it up. So the had plenty of time to test drive it. I am upset that he was lying to me about tires slipping on the rims. Ryan duff, and not checking rims for corrosion. Plus not test driving it an d spending 6 1/2 hours waiting in the waiting room when it should have been fixed the first time. I have bought 2 new trucks from O'Connor , but i will never deal with them again. The quality of the service department is not what it used to be. I will let everyone i know how awful this service department is and how awful i was treated and lied to. Daryl Vinal. More
I am very happy with how fast you got me in, that you also took care of open recall’s and that you communicated with me to only do what I wanted. also took care of open recall’s and that you communicated with me to only do what I wanted. More

The mechanics there must not be getting paid cause there definitely scraping the bottton as far as workmanship I am done doing business there done ✅ More
Cadillac Escalade’s engine failed at 81K miles. The repair took over a month, with a replacement engine promised a 3-year/100,000-mile warranty. However, issues recurred after 1,000 miles. Despite The repair took over a month, with a replacement engine promised a 3-year/100,000-mile warranty. However, issues recurred after 1,000 miles. Despite engine light problems, the dealership claimed no faults. At 34K miles, the engine completely failed. Service confirmed a 3yr/100K warranty, but later, they stated it only covered until 100K total miles. Now, facing an $8K repair, the dealership refuses responsibility, misinformed about the warranty terms. The service manager condescended, and the GM rep suggested consulting loved ones before proceeding with payment. Seeking resolution through AG, consumer reports, bad press, lawyers, and emphasizing the importance of honoring commitments for better customer service. More
We are very disappointed with the service department, the service managers are less than pleasant. The waiting room is great, a good thing after a long stay. I can’t tell from the invoice the number of hours service managers are less than pleasant. The waiting room is great, a good thing after a long stay. I can’t tell from the invoice the number of hours we were billed for, but it would appear the clock may have started from the moment I drove in. Granted we were 25 minutes early for the appointment, but!!!??? An oil change and having new key fob programmed shouldn’t cost $216.35 in labor by my way of thinking. Service department experience doesn’t come close to living up the experience of the sales department. More
I had several questions during the 3-5 day transaction, evertime I called with a question, I was promised a call back at least 4 times, that never happened once. I have bought several vehicles in the past evertime I called with a question, I was promised a call back at least 4 times, that never happened once. I have bought several vehicles in the past 10 years from other dealers, which I plan to return to, and everytime, I have got phone calls, emails, and regular mail, thanking me and asking if I had any problems or questions. Not one word from these people after I drove off of the lot. I was not even offered a road test before my purchase. I won't go back. More
