I wanted to take the time to write a longer review fully explaining my experience with this dealer so that no one would think I am biased. I am not writing this review because I am emotional, but I genuinel explaining my experience with this dealer so that no one would think I am biased. I am not writing this review because I am emotional, but I genuinely do not want people to be scammed, treated poorly, and have their time wasted at some sub par mom and pop dealership. I came here to purchase a Black 2004 Jaguar XJ8 for $14,995 from Patrick Kelly. At first when I visited the shop I was skeptical because the shop looked sketchy and untidy. But against my better judgement, advice, and because I was in love with the car I decided to pursue the vehicle. When I arrived Patrick Skelly was very friendly, but I soon learned he was only interested in the money and did not have the consumer's interest at heart. I am only 20 years old and he was rushing me to purchase the car. When I tried to get a loan from the bank they denied me and my parents because of something called loan to value disparity. What this means is when the bank checked the JD Power value of this particular vehicle and model they noticed that the car that Patrick Skelly was hastily trying to sell me for $14,995 ($16,591.52 after taxes) was only worth $5,600. Being a member at this particular credit union they swiftly recommended I recollect my deposit because this guy and his weird wife are scammers. When I tried to reach out to Mr. Skelly to communicate what the bank said he blocked my cell number. When I visited the shop to try and explain this in person; he and his wife insulted and disrespected me and told me (just a 20 year old) to get out of their shop. When I said that I would not be able to purchase the vehicle and would like my deposit back... which from the beginning the deposit was refundable... it now had suddenly become non refundable and they outright refused to give me my deposit back. I am not offended because honestly they look like they need the money more than I do. I can only assume he was angry because we caught onto his Ponzi scheme and realized they (Patrick Skelly & his wife) are scammers. But, I say all of that to say this. Do not waste your time purchasing a vehicle or getting repairs from here. All the vehicles on their lot are far above market value and their repairs are below average. Unfortunately the people who work here (Patrick Skelly & his wife) are not professionals. If you're 20 years old and a first time car buyer like me. My advice would be to stick to the legitimate car dealerships and pay the extra money rather than to get involved with some risky side dealer like this one. I have contacted my family’s lawyers and will be reporting them to the better business bureau. More
Bought a 2014 Corvette Drove from NH to look at 2014 Corvette. Car was a bargain and I gave them a personal check for a deposit. I found Patrick and Cindy easy to work with Drove from NH to look at 2014 Corvette. Car was a bargain and I gave them a personal check for a deposit. I found Patrick and Cindy easy to work with and would purchase again from them. I returned 5 days later and picked up the car. Transaction was smooth as butter! More
These people lie. They are just liars. Don’t buy from here I spoke to Patrick, the owner, on the phone about his 1984 gold Porsche 928 that he has for sale. I asked him if it was all original paint, and he I spoke to Patrick, the owner, on the phone about his 1984 gold Porsche 928 that he has for sale. I asked him if it was all original paint, and he said yes. I asked him if there was anything electrical that was not working on the car, he said every single thing worked perfectly, and this was a perfect car in perfect shape, air blows it ice cold, and it was out of his own collection that he has had for a while. No leaks, no problems. Tell him I’m driving 2.5 hrs to see it. He says it’s a true collectors car. So I get there and I see that the car is halfway repainted and doesn’t even match, A/C doesn’t work, front spoiler falling off, power mirrors are rewired backwards, leaking oil, clutch pedal sticks to the floor, and most the synchros in the trans need replacing. Then I find out, after talking to the staff, that they repainted it THERE, at his shop. He lied right to my face while smiling. Lies, lies, lies. NEVER buy a car from this place. EVER. Patrick need to go to jail, or spend the next 2 years saying his confessions to his priest; it would probably take that long. More
