During the purchase, they tried to include a very expensive service—described as an equipment charge—without clearly explaining or discussing it in advance. Despite being told multiple times that reimbursement for an auto inspection I paid for would be issued, more than 5 months have passed with no resolution. I followed up repeatedly via phone and email with both Chuck and Justin and was consistently told the reimbursement was approved and being handled, yet no action was ever taken. Do not accept their auto inspection fee, they’ll be 10-15 people in front of you waiting for their inspection. Their lack of follow-through is concerning and raises questions about how many other customers have been similarly affected. I was promised a specific pickup time, yet the car was still not ready upon my arrival. To make matters worse, I was sent home with the vehicle without any of the purchase paperwork, and never actually received all of the paperwork, leaving the process feeling chaotic and totally unprofessional. Overall, my experience was disorganized and misleading. I would hope the dealership improves its communication and honors the commitments it makes to customers. I can’t say enough about my NuCar experience. I wandered in and was greeted by Marc Cramer. I told him what I was looking for. We then both went on vacation but Marc followed up as soon as he I wandered in and was greeted by Marc Cramer. I told him what I was looking for. Corporate sales model issues at their worst- not to knock the employees, as this seems a system issue, but no one is incentivized to care about the customer experience unless the car is in process of being s the employees, as this seems a system issue, but no one is incentivized to care about the customer experience unless the car is in process of being sold. I called for a test drive appointment to confirm the car was unsold and would be on the lot when I arrived. I took time off from work and drove 45 minutes the day after I called, only to arrive and face confusion. First they told me they did not see the car listed at all, could I find it on my phone. Huh? This car was literally searchable online. Then they told me it was perhaps on a lot 2 hours from Norwood that they used for surplus vehicles. Finally, someone found the car listed online in their system and saw that it had been sold. Unless it sold in the 20 hours between my call and my scheduled test drive, this was just poor customer service all around and a waste of my time. The woman whom I spoke to either did not know how to check if a car had been sold or simply did not care much either way. Oh, and they could not tell me when it had sold, only that it was sold. So, my review is stay away if you are in the market for a used car. You will not get a dedicated salesperson, which means no one is invested in your experience as a customer until you are getting out your wallet. More
