Last evening I picked up my new 2013 Honda Accord EX from Tim McLean at Boch Honda West. This is how car purchasing should be! Tim is knowledgeable and took the time, at closing, to clearly explain the features of my car and the improvements that had been made since my 2011 Accord. Tim's background knowledge and love of automobiles is obvious. The entire sales process was pleasant and how many people can say that. Tim and the team at Boch Honda West presented their best offer right away, no hassle here. They located the color of my choice and kept me informed as to when it would be ready to pick up. On the night of delivery, I walked in at 6:30 PM, completed all the business paperwork and drove off from the dealership at 8:00 PM. I also want to add, meeting with the business office did not include the high pressure sales of add ons. What a welcome relief to car buying! If you are looking to purchase a Honda, I would highly recommend contacting Tim McLean at Boch Honda West. It will be worth your call! More
My experiience with thisw dealership was not pleasant. I did a lot of shopping around on-line for a pre-owned Civic. My thought was to acquire a quality car with relatively low mileage & not more than a co did a lot of shopping around on-line for a pre-owned Civic. My thought was to acquire a quality car with relatively low mileage & not more than a couple of yeasrs old, a leasesd car turned back in basically was what i was thinking. The Civic is a good small-er car, mileage being a prime consideration & Honda has a reputation as a dependable make. I have wanted a Honda vehilce in the past and I felt the dealers I dealt with were very arrogant about the product & had a take it ro leave it attitude about their asking prices. I bought a Honda from a dealer in OH in the80's, shopped for a Honda in Texas in the 90's & recently bought this Civic from Boch Honda in Westborugh. Boch's team was friendly over the phone, I called after I located a Civic on their website that had 24,000 miles and was priced a little lower than the other Civics I had been seeing on-line. Don't bother trying to remember anyone's name at BOCH HONDA WEST. You will be passed around from person to person. Passed is probably not the right term, because that would imply that the person you were dealing with actually passed info to the next rep you will speak to. That was not the case in my experience. Over the phone, 3 different reps, on e-mail about when I could "Come on Down" - 3 Reps/ 1 ask for me, walk-in, person not available, I'll find someone, sales, 2 reps, finance, 3 reps. I had to take the car back to get a sticker, even then - 2 different service writers. At first I thought it was just a busy place, but I now strongly feel it is a concerted effort/tactic aiming to soften the customer up for this dealership to deftly extract as much money from you as they can get away with. Your time is of absolutely no concern to this group. - Again, don't bother getting someon's name, you will not be helped by the first 1 or 2 reps you speak with. I really felt like telling the next person who asked "how can I help you" that I would really like a ride down the street to test drive a Chevy Cruz! IF you read nothing else about this dealership, do not sign anything until you have read every single line on it. Simple car-buying advice, right? WELL by the time you sit down with the "Finance Manager" to sign papers & see the "bottom line" your head will be spinning, you will be very hungry(you'll have a chance to buy at least one meal at Ernie's diner in the showroom & a snack or 2), you will have had a 5 minute "test drive" and a 3 hour wait for the "papers to go through". AT that point you'll get:: "Any questions? <<<<< That was my last chance to run, not walk out &instead I missed it!! They will give you as much Poland Spring water as you can drink while you wait and meet many of theirr "staff". I really don't like being treated like a box of Kleenex and I had many opportunities to walk out of this place, it is definitely something I wish I had done. More
I bought a 2013 Ridgeline Sport that I picked up on Thursday afternoon 7/25/13 Drove it Home and realized that I made a huge mistake in buying that model. I went back on Friday Morning 7/26/13 telling Thursday afternoon 7/25/13 Drove it Home and realized that I made a huge mistake in buying that model. I went back on Friday Morning 7/26/13 telling them I was very dissatisfied with this model because it was basically stripped with no accessories that I was used to having in the 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac that I traded in.. The 2013 Ridgeline RTL was the vehicle I should have bought because it had a few similar features that I was used to.. The Cost differences on the stickers was $4,000.. I had the vehicle for less than 12 hours after telling them I wanted to trade up to the Ridgeline RTL and I was willing to pay up front the $4,000 cost with an additional $1,000 because of my Mistake.. I was told First by the sales manager all they could do was trade me up at an additional cost of get this $8,900 plus my accessories that were in the one I got for a total of $11,847.00.. So you can now fully appreciate this huge disappointment.. This took me a week of negotiating back and forth through several levels of Management until I heard from the GM of the dealership himself and at that point I was finally able to get into the truck I really wanted within range of the $5,000 budget I had set for this to happen.. Thank you for finally working with me.. Mike Cayer, Lowell, MA More
This is my first Honda, but through a friend's recommendation I visited Boch Honda West to find Tim McLean. Tim was amazingly helpful. He did not pressure me into anything, but showed me everyth recommendation I visited Boch Honda West to find Tim McLean. Tim was amazingly helpful. He did not pressure me into anything, but showed me everything I asked for and answered all my questions with patience and knowledge. I saw my dream car, but thought it was out of my price range. Tim helped get the price down to something I could afford, and that same day I was driving the car off the lot! Everything was taken care of, paperwork, registration, insurance and plate transfer, inspection, etc. It was a great experience. I love Boch Honda West, and I recommend Tim as the best car salesperson I have ever met! More
Corey & Sales Managers did a great job. They are professionals, worked very hard to satisfy us & earn our business. We give them our unqualified recommendation We purchased after market heated & professionals, worked very hard to satisfy us & earn our business. We give them our unqualified recommendation We purchased after market heated & leather seats through the dealership. The contractor was unable to match the leather stitching to the existing Honda stitching. The seat sides also rub against the center console cover making a squeaking noise when driving. We would not have ordered the leather if we were aware of these issues. More

I was looking for a standard Honda Accord and found a few of them on Auto Trader. I contacted the Boch Honda in Westford about a vehicle they had there. We communicated via email where I got to ask question of them on Auto Trader. I contacted the Boch Honda in Westford about a vehicle they had there. We communicated via email where I got to ask questions about the vehicle and the price without having to make a trip to dealership which is a distance from where I live. I was able to get a price for the vehicle that was acceptable to me before arriving at the dealership. Once there I was met by Paul Brown who was friendly and courteous and the deal went smoothly. The part that I did not like was being brought into the office where is was given the opportunity to buy all kinds of additional warranties before I could leave. I was not interested and though the person trying to sell me them was nice enough, I would have been happier to skip that part. I also did not get my registration until the last day when I needed the inspection sticker. I was not called that the registration was available and then when I called because it was day #6 I was told that it was at the desk. I think someone should have notified my but it may have slipped throught the cracks. Overall I was pleased with my first time car dealer experience. I had contacted other dealers and they did not call back or tried to insist I come in before giving me too much information and in turn did not get my business. More
Second car our family has leased with Boch. Took advantage of their low cost leases. They were willing to work with us and make sure all aspects of the deal met our needs.
