My recent service experiance was very good for a routine oil change. Service person went over service options coming on my vehicle, but did not push too hard or speak down to me. While this was a good experiance, I am still upset from a prevous visit, that I had to replace rear brakes ($350) at 35K miles and the dealership did nothing but try to tell me it "could be my driving". There is a design flaw in th '08 accord rear brakes. I nver replaced rear brakes in a Honda before 100k miles. I called to complain and some called to take my information. They said they would call back, but never did and I lost the paper I took thier name down on. I was in a jam today so I had my oil change at Boch, but will not go back because of the lack of customer service on the brake issue. I feel the dealership does not stand by the product they are selling. I have bought multiple cars from Boch and have been a loyal customer, but they treated me like I just wanted to get something for free. I just wanted them to stand by thier product and make it right. Service will be completed at Herb Chambers going forward. More
Consistently professional and timely service from this dealership. Mr. De Silva was an outstanding service consultant. He presented himself in a very professional manner. He explained every step of the service process in a concise and easy to understand way as to why th presented himself in a very professional manner. Furthermore, he was as professional when speaking to me on the phone with his two follow-up phone calls. The best way to explain how I felt through this process was to say that I trusted what Sean told me throughout, which is not a feeling that I have had in previous visits to other dealerships. Sean DeSilva was informative and explained the maintenance that my CRV needed before it went in to the mechanic. He told me the price of each service that needed to be done. Sean went over my bill with me and there were no surpises. Everything was just as he said it would be. He is a friendly and enthusiastic young man and a credit to the dealership. My car was serviced in less time than I had estimated that it would take.I will continue to bring my car to Norwood to be serviced even though I live about 30 miles away. More
Today I had a good experience getting my car serviced at Boch Honda, and service representative Sean DeSilva was a big reason why. I have probably had my car serviced there about 10 times. I have never had an issue with quality of work done there, but one problem that I have had at least 4 times is service representatives attempting to sell me services I do not need. This wastes my time, and it erodes my trust in the dealership's service department when I feel like the service reps are more concerned about sales than customer service (I would be very curious to see how Boch Honda incentivizes its service representatives and see if there is a link to this behavior) On one occasion, I was so irritated by my experience, I took my car to Jiffy Lube for my car's next oil change (in fairness to Boch Honda, Jiffy Lube also has issues with trying to sell customers unecessary service). I have interacted with Sean DeSilva a few times now, and each time has been a positive experience for me. Sean makes me feel like a valued customer. His attitude and behavior show me that his goal is to make sure my car is running well and that I bring my car back to Boch Honda every time I need service. Other service representatives have made me feel like their primary goal was to maximize the amount of service revenue that came out of my wallet during that particular visit. I will keep brining my Honda to Boch Honda for service because of Sean. More
I needed to go to the dealer to pick up my registration and get my inspection sticker on my new 2010 Honda Odyssey. I picked up the reg no problem and drove into the service bay and meet Sean. He had my van in and out in about 15 minutes which was great because I had my 3 kids with me. They even drove my van back into the service bay because it was pouring out!!! They really are great. It was a rainy Sunday. All of the other tire shops were closed. And there I was, with a tire situation that needed IMMEDIATE attention. I cringed at the idea of having to go a dealership to buy tires. My m closed. And there I was, with a tire situation that needed IMMEDIATE attention. I cringed at the idea of having to go a dealership to buy tires. My mind thought about the sales pitch I was about to get and then the up sell. I walked in determined. And so was Sean De Silva. A man of few words, he instantly gained my trust. There was no big show and scare tactics. He told me that we would review my options together, he'd offer three price points and we would determine the best value for me. He got me in and out, while keeping me updated about the process. Boch Honda is good dealer. They have great and well trained staff. They are very polite and helpful to customer. I have minimal experience with cars but they giude me properly. That have good amenities for customer like coffee, Muffins, Donuts etc plus wending machine. More
