I too shopped around for the best price and we thought we got it at Boch Honda. They gave us the advertised special for a 2008 new Honda Accord EXL-(top of the line sedan w/ leather and heated seats.) The got it at Boch Honda. They gave us the advertised special for a 2008 new Honda Accord EXL-(top of the line sedan w/ leather and heated seats.) The internet guy quoted us 1000.00 over what was advertised on the website so you have to be an educated shopper and a smart cookie. Once I got my price- I was shopping for my mom who was actually purchasing the vehicle, we went down and test drove it and were ready to make a deal. What they don't tell you up front is that you can't get any special advertised financing with that price and they quoted my mom 6.74%. Not a good deal considering she was putting down 8 thousand and owns her own home outright and has excellent credit. Anyway "it had to be paid for then and there" and they wouldn't even accept a cashier's check on delivery! To make a long story short she will be paying off the car after she gets her first bill in. They get something on the back end of the loan that is why the interest rates are ridiculous compared to banks/credit unions. I am writing this to inform people- moms, grandmother's everyone, to know what they're in for buying a vehicle from Boch. Overall my mom loves the car, happy with the price, not happy with the finance guy/end of things at all. Be prepared, get new car loan rates from reputable banking institutions. It was late, we were tired and just wanted to get it done. We never had to haggle over price but we paid for it with an inflated interest rate and plenty of headaches. Overall our sales man Bob F. was very good but they distance themselves from the finance end completely. Watch for the advertised specials on the website, then find out all the facts associated ahead of time and you'll do great. Hope this helps! KCD More
I was not impressed with the service, I was there for over 6 hours and felt like the salesman had absolutely no idea what was going on. They even tried to sneak the Mass tax onto my contract (I'm a New H over 6 hours and felt like the salesman had absolutely no idea what was going on. They even tried to sneak the Mass tax onto my contract (I'm a New Hampshire resident). I went to Boch because they claimed I could get a "great deal" so I drove over and hour from my home to receive this great deal. Well, I didn't really get any "great deal" on the price of the car - I could have bought my car in NH and driven it off the lot that day for the same price. Which reminds me, I had to wait over a week to get my car delivered to me up in New Hampshire because the salesman didn't "feel like getting up at 6 in the morning" on the days that worked best for me. When I finally got my car I could tell the salesman was a smoker because my car smelled like cigarette smoke - not to mention my contract stated the car would have 12 miles on it. I live a little over 50 miles away. The car had 120 something miles on it when I received it. Does 12+50=120??? And oh yeah! I forgot to mention the interior was filthy and covered with dust and the corner vent cover had popped out of the dashboard. Whatever happened to cleaning and inspecting the car before the customer receives it? Absolute disaster. Worst car buying experience I've ever had. DO NOT to go to Boch. More
I've purchased 12 new automobiles in my life time. This has involved visiting many dozens of dealerships and experiencing the good (very few), the bad, and the sleazyest (very many) of salesmen over the pa has involved visiting many dozens of dealerships and experiencing the good (very few), the bad, and the sleazyest (very many) of salesmen over the past 40 years. As a result, I've learned to be very cautious and skeptical when visiting any auto dealership. I was recently in the market for a new Honda. After visiting 3 local dealerships, dealing with 3 annoying salesmen and 2 irritating sales managers, I stopped by Boch Honda. The first thing I noticed was that this was the busiest auto dealership I've ever seen. After waiting awhile for an available salesman, I found myself in the company of Jim Travers. Jim was the most affable, honest, helpful salesman I've ever met. No pressure, no annoying, deceptive sales jargon. Just friendly, helpful information and advice. Though I had no experience with any other salesmen at Boch, I'm very happy to say that I got a better deal than offered by the competition and had a very pleasant experience working with Jim. The process did take longer than I expected. Boch has a huge inventory and many of their vehicles are located on a couple of remote parking lots a couple of miles from the dealership. So if the vehicle you're looking for isn't on the lot at the dealership, it can take a while to find it, then find the keys for it, then move the cars that are parked in front of it. Also, there often seems to be a wait just to see a salesman (it seems to be a very busy place). You can SAVE A LOT OF TIME by calling their sales department the day before you come in (or at least a few hours before you just show up and have to wait). When you call, ask for a specific salesman that you know and trust. If you don't know anyone, I highly recommend Jim Travers. If you set an appointment with a salesman, and you know what type of vehicle you're looking for, he can have it ready and waiting for you when you arrive. This can save you a couple of hours that would otherwise be spent waiting for a salesman and searching for a vehicle you like. If your experience is anything like mine, you'll soon be driving a new Honda and be very glad that you went to Boch Honda to buy it. More
I found your ads misleading. I found their sales tactics deceptive. High pressure managers that only wanted to make a deal and finance with the company. Would not accept my credit unions check. I should hav deceptive. High pressure managers that only wanted to make a deal and finance with the company. Would not accept my credit unions check. I should have listened to my friends and stayed away from BOCH. Never again! More
Don't waste your time! Tried to buy my Odyssey there two years ago and they're still playing the same game - lying to you on the phone and then changing all the prices when you get there. Two yrs ago they b years ago and they're still playing the same game - lying to you on the phone and then changing all the prices when you get there. Two yrs ago they beat everyones price on the phone and then lied when I got there - tried to change everything. Every dealer warned me about them and I still fell for it. Thought I'd give them a second chance this time. Oops - my bad! They lied again! Even made a manager confirm the price and they outright changed it by $2,100 when we got there! Mysteriously nobody could find record of any conversations or emails. Then, to top it off - they wont even honor their advertised price on "every" in stock Accord - wanted me to pay thousands more. Stay away! They will say anything to get you in their showroom and then waste your time for hours when you get there. Ran into two other people equally duped leaving. I don't know how these guys stay in business. More
I have a 1998 Honda Civic and a 2008 Honda Accord. I bought the honda accord at BOCH and it wasn't that painful, but the only reason I will continue to use Boch is the exceptional service dept. I have bought the honda accord at BOCH and it wasn't that painful, but the only reason I will continue to use Boch is the exceptional service dept. I have never had a long wait that wasn't expected. They are always upfront with not only wait times, but with the cost as well. The best part about this service dept are the people. They let me know that on my civic, I could use a 130,000 mile service, but told me that I could wait another 10,000 miles if I needed to. I was so impressed with their honesty. I like to take good care of my car, (why be stranded waiting for AAA when I could have replaced something when I found out about it) so I opted to get the service, but it was such a great feeling knowing that they were on my side... not out out to make the almighty dollar... Another great experience I had was when I bought my new car. The service dept gave me a key chain that gave me two free oil changes (the first one and the fourth one). How great is that! Now I even receive coupons and reminders in the mail so I don't even have to think about my car (they do all that for me) Trust me I need all the help I can get :) Well, just wanted to let someone know that not all dealerships are bad... They let me take my time driving the car sitting in it. Finding the color I wanted with all the extra's. They were wonderful!!! The price we paid for the car and the trade in were remarkable. I would send anyone looking for a honda here. And the service department was so great when I went back for my first oil change. More
The service here was outstanding!!! I had to get an oil change and tire rotation. I had my three children with me. Maria Lopez in service-was OUTSTANDING. I've never met anyone so PLEASENT in the car ind change and tire rotation. I had my three children with me. Maria Lopez in service-was OUTSTANDING. I've never met anyone so PLEASENT in the car industry to deal with. She brought me and the kids to there great play room for the kids to just hang out, watch a movie, tv, color, play with a children's computer or play with lego's. They didn't want to leave when the car was ready. She then showed me desks with wi-fi connections if you have your laptop and phones at your disposale. Also, the kids loved that no matter what time of day we got there they could have free-muffins, danish or donuts-I love the coffee! I will definatly be back. More
Boch Honda is a bizarre place. They insult you and expect you to pay. They want you to PAY NOW!!!!! The Sales Reps were totally clueless, unprofessional, and annoying. I negotiated a deal on phone. When you to pay. They want you to PAY NOW!!!!! The Sales Reps were totally clueless, unprofessional, and annoying. I negotiated a deal on phone. When I went there to buy, I negotiated a fair deal, but when I went there to buy THE WAY THEY WANT it was OVERWHELMING. Business associate lied, and said they cannot sell for the price they promised on phone. My advice is that when you negotiate deal have it in email. Be very careful with these people. If you know nothing about buying a car THIS IS NOT the place for you to go - they will DISRESPECT you and TAKE YOU FOR A LONG HORRIBLE RIDE! More
