Not what is should be - disappointed Nice facility, but they are going through the motions and charging to much for not finding the problem despite two trips. Basic issues on a Suburban I Nice facility, but they are going through the motions and charging to much for not finding the problem despite two trips. Basic issues on a Suburban I bought from them, and serviced exclusively with them, will not go back now. They did not pay attention, wasted my time and $150 to check and charge the battery! No drop of and pick up service, would not drop the customer of if more than 10 miles away, and therefore making it very difficult for anyone with a busy schedule to get service without sitting there for hours, and then be told " we can't find the problem"!! Pain-free service experience Free cookies, coffee, and massage chair while you wait. They will run the car through the wash for you as well! (for free). Very friendly and nice p Free cookies, coffee, and massage chair while you wait. They will run the car through the wash for you as well! (for free). Very friendly and nice people. As a woman I am always wary of car dealers and who might be trying to rip me off, but these people are great and very fair. The pricing seems less expensive than other places, not any crazy deals but definitely not paying too much there. Also, once you go there you get coupons with great offers and discounts. I used to work near Norwood and now I'm not as close, but I still make the drive out there to get my Chevy serviced! More
Our older Chevy SUV had some issues. We had service done for one problem and after we picked it up it had another. Edwin Hernandez was a champ. He saw what had happened and took charge and helped us reso for one problem and after we picked it up it had another. Edwin Hernandez was a champ. He saw what had happened and took charge and helped us resolve the problem(s) - TWICE! He stayed late for me and made extra time for usand had a rental done and there for me. He made a very unpleasant/trying situation "much" better. Clay Chevy, Your lucky to have him. Nice, nice young man. He cared about us getting up and running again. More
This is the second time I have purchased a Chevrolet. I must Say Arnie Petrosky is the best person who works there. He is efficient, friendly, and goes the distance to ensure the customer is treated right. must Say Arnie Petrosky is the best person who works there. In August of 2011, six months after purchasing a $17,000 vehicle from Clay Chevrolet in Norwood, my "newly purchased" Chevy Equinox left me and my 10 year old son stranded at his elementary school. Odd. I t vehicle from Clay Chevrolet in Norwood, my "newly purchased" Chevy Equinox left me and my 10 year old son stranded at his elementary school. Odd. I thought I traded in my 95 Ford Explorer so I can feel “safe” that my son and I would not have to worry about situations such as the one I was in. The coolant in my car seemed to be disappearing mysteriously causing the engine to overheat and my car would intermittently stall. So I took it to the dealership thinking, “hey, I just bought this car about six months ago. I’m sure those nice guys that made a profit from selling me a $17,000 vehicle would be happy to fix the issues my newly purchased car seems to be experiencing”. I guess I’m putting way too much faith in mankind. The service guys told me that the car has NO LEAK, and that because it was August, the heat may be causing the liquid to evaporate. Also, the car was stalling because the battery needed to be replaced. The battery would be $175 dollars which included the installation fee. “Wait a second. You’re telling me that I have to pay $175 for a car I just purchased SIX MONTHS ago?”. “Yes ma’am. It’s not covered under warranty”. Okay, fine. I picked up my car, and bought a battery from Triple A for $100 dollars. Fast forward to May. Since then I’ve had a new battery, I’m still having to replace the coolant in my car that has “no leak”, the engine is still overheating, and the car is still intermittently stalling. So I take the car to the dealership, crossing my fingers that maybe they’ll touch base with their humanity for just a second to see how wrong this scenario is. I was wrong. The car still has no leak, and the cause of the evaporation is due to a Unicorn doing the mambo on my “reservoir”. The cost? $300plus to fix. My “extended warranty” doesn’t cover mythical creatures doing the mambo inside my engine. So what does this mean? It means I have a 3 year loan with the bank to pay off a car that is slowly but surely kicking the bucket. Clay Chevrolet of Norwood apparently sells cars that will no longer work after a year of use. I bought a 95 Explorer for $1800 in cash which lasted 3 years. I guess I’ll stick to Craigslist. More
