The service that James Charron provided at Clay Chevrolet Hyundai was superior to the many dealerships I visited on my search for a new car. James inquired what I wanted in a new car and took the information to provide me with a car that provided with all the options I wanted, provided me the information to fit within my price range and provided me with a car of my dreams. I am a very happy customer of Clay Chevrolet Hyundai and would recommend them because of the service excellance James provided. This was not my experience with the many other dealerships I visited and want to THANK James for making my experience at Clay Chevrolet Hyundai a wonderful lasting impression and they have a customer for life. I have been shopping for a 2SS Camaro for over a year, and have been to 4 dealerships. I can tell you that Mike DiPaolo is your man, he gave me a great deal on a beautiful 2SS Camaro, with low miles and and have been to 4 dealerships. I can tell you that Mike DiPaolo is your man, he gave me a great deal on a beautiful 2SS Camaro, with low miles and in mint condition. Most salesmen I have dealt with at other dealers were pushy, talked too much, aggressive, and pretended to know everything about the car (and would not hesitate to talk your ear off during the test drive). Mike was laid back, worked with the dealer to get a price I wanted, and understood what I was looking for. When the website crashed for registering the vehicle's license plate, Mike was persistent and just as I had lost all hope and was driving back in my old car, he called me up and told me he was able to register the plates so I could drive off the lot. Most of all, I was treated like family and not some sales statistic. I highly encourage everyone to request Mike to assist you with your purchase, whether it be used or new; he's a great guy, easy to talk to, and in my opinion the best sales rep at Clay Chevrolet. Our older Chevy SUV had some issues. We had service done for one problem and after we picked it up it had another. Edwin Hernandez was a champ. He saw what had happened and took charge and helped us reso for one problem and after we picked it up it had another. Edwin Hernandez was a champ. He saw what had happened and took charge and helped us resolve the problem(s) - TWICE! He stayed late for me and made extra time for usand had a rental done and there for me. He made a very unpleasant/trying situation "much" better. Clay Chevy, Your lucky to have him. Nice, nice young man. He cared about us getting up and running again. More
Scott was very patient and informative. He could have been out in the parking lot looking for prospective customers on my 2 visits to the dealership, but instead he took the time to to work with me and been out in the parking lot looking for prospective customers on my 2 visits to the dealership, but instead he took the time to to work with me and answer my many questions and show me how every button ( and there are alot ) in my Equinox worked. I had already been to 4 other dealerships that day and we decided on Clay Chevrolet because of Scotts attentivness. More
I was first contacted by the dealer to offer a chance to upgrade my vehicle. We were introduced to the new Malibu for 2013 and found it to be a much improved vehicle. We test drove both the 2012 and 2913 EC upgrade my vehicle. We were introduced to the new Malibu for 2013 and found it to be a much improved vehicle. We test drove both the 2012 and 2913 ECO and ended up leasing the latter of the two. I have dealt with Clay Chevrolet on a number of occasions in the past, and have felt that they have been extremely accomodating and helpful. There was no pressure placed on us and they let me and my wife come to our own conclusions about trading up and choosing the vehicle. They spent a great deal of time with us which was appreciated as we both feel that Mike Harrison, the salesman, was extremely helpful. We are both happy with the vehicle. It has drawn much attention as it was probably the first 2013 Malibu sold in the area. We are looking forward to driving the car for the full lease term, and then return to Clay for our future needs. My wife and I went to Clay Chevrolet to look at a 2012 Chevy Camaro 45th Anniversary Edition. I was greeted by Jim McAndrews. My first impression was that that this guy was very genuine - Not the stereo Chevy Camaro 45th Anniversary Edition. I was greeted by Jim McAndrews. My first impression was that that this guy was very genuine - Not the stereotypical "car salesman." After the test drive, we went back to the showroom to talk. Everything about the car was fantastic. And, I really wanted it. I had a price in mind that I wanted to pay and I had a price in mind for what I wanted for my trade. Jim brought me a deal sheet: $X for the car, $Y for my trade = $Z total. I adjusted X and Y and he went back with my offer. He came back with another counter. Jim conducted himself very ethically and professionally. He didn't apply a lot of pressure and treated my with much respect. After further negotiations with with Brian Sceviour and Kevin Eaton, we were able to strike a very exceptional deal. I paid a very fair price for the car and I got a very fair price for my trade. I couldn't have asked for anything more. No mind games, no hassle, no tricks! I went back a few days later to get the sticker. I was greeted like family - From Jim, from Brian and from Kevin. I have been to many car dealerships over the years, and the list of dealerships and employees that are honest and have a lot of integrity is a very short! I'm happy to say that Clay Chevrolet is at the very top of this list. When i'm ready for the Corvette, Clay Chevrolet will be my very first stop! More
Never in a million years would I recommend Clay Chevrolet to anyone. Shiney new facility but same old song and dance. I should've gone with GMC or VW. My mistake. to anyone. Shiney new facility but same old song and dance. I should've gone with GMC or VW. My mistake. More
This is the second time I have purchased a Chevrolet. I must Say Arnie Petrosky is the best person who works there. He is efficient, friendly, and goes the distance to ensure the customer is treated right. must Say Arnie Petrosky is the best person who works there. Had a great time buying a new Chevy Volt with the Clay dealership! Everyone was super nice, no one was "too pushy" or obnoxious in the time between when we stopped in and when we made the decision to get dealership! Everyone was super nice, no one was "too pushy" or obnoxious in the time between when we stopped in and when we made the decision to get the car. Scott was very knowledgeable about the Volt and all its cool features. Everyone at the dealership seemed as excited about the product as we were, and very positive. Sales managers, reception, just everybody was so nice and friendly. Very patient staff who explained everything and made sure we were comfortable with the car after we got it. Really felt like they were working hard to earn our business and get us back in the GM family. Dealership itself was clean, nice, bright, and showroom cars all looked well kept. More
In August of 2011, six months after purchasing a $17,000 vehicle from Clay Chevrolet in Norwood, my "newly purchased" Chevy Equinox left me and my 10 year old son stranded at his elementary school. Odd. I t vehicle from Clay Chevrolet in Norwood, my "newly purchased" Chevy Equinox left me and my 10 year old son stranded at his elementary school. Odd. I thought I traded in my 95 Ford Explorer so I can feel “safe” that my son and I would not have to worry about situations such as the one I was in. The coolant in my car seemed to be disappearing mysteriously causing the engine to overheat and my car would intermittently stall. So I took it to the dealership thinking, “hey, I just bought this car about six months ago. I’m sure those nice guys that made a profit from selling me a $17,000 vehicle would be happy to fix the issues my newly purchased car seems to be experiencing”. I guess I’m putting way too much faith in mankind. The service guys told me that the car has NO LEAK, and that because it was August, the heat may be causing the liquid to evaporate. Also, the car was stalling because the battery needed to be replaced. The battery would be $175 dollars which included the installation fee. “Wait a second. You’re telling me that I have to pay $175 for a car I just purchased SIX MONTHS ago?”. “Yes ma’am. It’s not covered under warranty”. Okay, fine. I picked up my car, and bought a battery from Triple A for $100 dollars. Fast forward to May. Since then I’ve had a new battery, I’m still having to replace the coolant in my car that has “no leak”, the engine is still overheating, and the car is still intermittently stalling. So I take the car to the dealership, crossing my fingers that maybe they’ll touch base with their humanity for just a second to see how wrong this scenario is. I was wrong. The car still has no leak, and the cause of the evaporation is due to a Unicorn doing the mambo on my “reservoir”. The cost? $300plus to fix. My “extended warranty” doesn’t cover mythical creatures doing the mambo inside my engine. So what does this mean? It means I have a 3 year loan with the bank to pay off a car that is slowly but surely kicking the bucket. Clay Chevrolet of Norwood apparently sells cars that will no longer work after a year of use. I bought a 95 Explorer for $1800 in cash which lasted 3 years. I guess I’ll stick to Craigslist. More
