Called the number today and after getting bounced back and forth between service and parts, i was told the part arrived several days ago. I didnt get a call indicating it was in. I also had to ask multiple times about getting a loaner since the takes several days. End result, i have an appointment for 0830 on 6/6 to get the repair completed, 3 weeks after the initial appointment and only because i called in.

Today I called the number provided and after getting bounced between parts and service, I was able to learn the part came in "several days ago." There was confusion around providing a loaner as the repair time is estimated at 48-72 hours and I was asked to contact my warranty provider. I'm still covered by the new car manufacturer warranty. That got corrected after I explained to the service advisor that the part was ordered as part of a prior appointment. Got sent back to scheduling and was given a 6/9 date. I asked if I could bring it in on 6/6 and confirmed the date and time. I got the email confirmation and then a short while later got a new confirmation for 6/9. Which is correct? I plan to drop off on 6/6 before 0830. Why wasn't I contacted when the part arrived? Why wasn't the expected work already in the system to ease the experience?
