TOP NOTCH SERVICE My wife and I recently visited Northwood Chevrolet in Eureka, CA...just simply window shopping. We met our Salesman Jose Chiu and discussed my options My wife and I recently visited Northwood Chevrolet in Eureka, CA...just simply window shopping. We met our Salesman Jose Chiu and discussed my options of what I was looking for. I came to the dealership with a pre-approval from my current finance company at the time, whom I had never missed a payment with, to your dealership...knowing what my FICO score was, what I was approved for, and at what interest rate. I did have some negative equity to roll into the deal and spoke very frankly with Jose. He was extremely attentive, offered suggestion based on what we were looking for and stated it was nice we were well-informed on what our score was and what challenges we had. It made it easier for him to help us "maximize" dealer incentives to try to help "eat" some of that negative equity. He gave us a few great options and was...key point here...he was very thoughtful in trying to help eat that equity, while finding a car that would best serve our family, and at no point did he ever cut you off when talking or pressure you. He carefully listened to what you said and to be blunt...it felt like talking with a friend or neighbor. Then, Jose, the business manager Adam Hurley, and the general manager Don Hacket worked with Jose and their credit sources to find me the best deal they could. They ended up finding me an interest rate around 6% (comparable to the range of 3 to 9 percent I received from my creditor I had - Capital One - at the time). They (Don and Adam) even offered me a $500 discount if I provided them the current vehicle registration. Unfortunately, on my recent move from Texas to Eureka (job related - government job) it was lost in transit. Over the course of 3 to 4 weeks and several calls back to Texas, I finally got the registration yesterday which I provided to Adam. I did have an older expired copy (few months old) that I showed Adam that he used to honor the discount, on condition I got him the current one ASAP, which I did. Adam never got irritated or short-tempered given that it took a few weeks to get the latest registration that he needed. We kept in contact every week as I'd pop in with a :"status update". Additionally, when purchasing the vehicle, both himself and Don made sure I had the very best insurance coverage package relating to the loan, gave me a free tank of gas, a couple other good incentives. Both Don and Adam really took good care of me, as did Jose, and we as a family will definitely be back (should the need arise). One of my co-workers also bought a car from Jose last year (talk about coincidence) and had a similar report/response about Northwood and Jose. We'll definitely refer people to this dealership when the chance arises. Thanks again for everything. More
