I was disappointed that at first, when I was on the lot, I asked someone a question and he answered as he walked away, as if I was not important enough to be helped. I was also disappointed that it took a bunch of fluff just to get to one or two specific answers that I was looking for, for example, the trade in I would get for my vehicle. That number also changed the day I returned to purchase the new vehicle. I was also quoted low interest rates, 0%, 2.9%, when in fact, on the paperwork it appeared at 5.2%. I was told originally, that I would not get a lower rate at my bank, which I would have. Although I am happy with my vehicle and the overall experience was OK, I do feel that I was "played" a bit as a customer. More

They are friendly as long as they think they can scam you. Once you start asking how they have reached their numbers the attitude changes. Jimmy claimed not to have understood basic math (plus and minus) and got “confused” over and over again. But the worst are the guys in the back room – rude and unpleasant. After Jimmy and John made numerous trips to the back room to “check the math” after they had supposedly “got all the numbers right,” those two “managers” were the final straw – I just walked out. Luckily, might I add – two other dealerships in town offered much better prices. In sum, don’t fall for the so-called “dealer rater certified.” These guys are some of the worst you’d ever come across. More
My wife and I walked into Northway Toyota with low expectations of buying a new vehicle that same day. What the sales and financial staff was able to do for us was wonderful, and helped us walk out w expectations of buying a new vehicle that same day. What the sales and financial staff was able to do for us was wonderful, and helped us walk out with the brand new truck that fit our wants and needs perfectly. David Russell Jr., our salesman, was very friendly and personable. From the showroom to the lot, to the courteousness of ALL staff members, our time spent there couldn't have been made much better than it was. He answered all my questions and the process was going smoothly but when I mentioned I was a college grad, he immediately informed me of Toyota's college grad program and that I could actually lease a 2010 corolla S for a better price. I greatly appreciate the fact that he mentioned a discount to me because it shows that he there to help me and not dig into my pocket. However, I was a little doubtful at first so I asked him to bring up all the numbers and papers for both models so that I could compare them. He never questioned my requests or tryed to force me which option to pick and in the end, it was clear that leasing a new corolla was the better choice for me. It was just great how he keep all the options open and. Let me know every detail of both until I finally chose one. After that, it was smooth sailing and for the 5 days I've had my car it has been doing some smooth driving. I would recommend this dealer to many people. Throughout the process I was always aware of the difference between leasing and buying, and of toyota's recent recalls, so, takining those into account, it's safe to say I had a great and mind changing experience. Best price in the area the first time with no need to negotiate, which is a BIG PLUS! Jim was knowledgeable and decent, answered questions and seemd honest in his answers, especially the whole Prius saf negotiate, which is a BIG PLUS! Our salesmen Jim was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable regarding the vehicles we were interested in. He has a very friendly way about him. Not pushy at all. Our appt. to pick up the vehicle was right on time, no delays, and Jim was very thorough with all the paperwork and services the dealership had to offer. Jimmy, the sales manager came out to greet us and thank us for doing business with Northway Toyota. Another salesmen got us a nice fresh cup of coffee. Over all experience was very pleasant and we would definitely recommend this dealership to our family and friends. More

He arranged for me to test a new car when I expressed an interest while my 2008 Prius was being serviced. I was very impressed with the 2010 Prius, in spite of the recent unfavorable publicity, and Liam Bunk did an excellent job in reassuring me of Toyota's commitment to correcting any problems that might occur. This was the best exerience I've had in purchasing a car for several years, with both the agency and the sales staf. More
