I went into Northtown looking for an affordable, good car. I walked out of the dealership within 3 hours with a brand new 2013 Elantra at the most reasonable price ever. This car dealer should be avoided at all costs! My car has been VANDALIZED by their service department! They have broken my odometer screen, my cigarette lighter/electrical plug-in, left garbage in my car has been VANDALIZED by their service department! They have broken my odometer screen, my cigarette lighter/electrical plug-in, left garbage in my car, left cigarettes in my engine compartment (Dorals, to be exact). They also refuse to honor warranties, and faultily installed a spark plug that caused internal components to over heat and melt the heat shield under the car! My transmission went and when I tried to get it covered. Hyundai said it was due to negligence and refused (I went to them to have it maintained). When I went to a transmission specialist not affiliated with Hyundai, I was told that it was due to a faulty part that broke the case on the transmission. After speaking not only to Northtown, but also Hyundai corporate, I was told that because I went to another place, the warranty would not be honored. Their service shop gives you false information, tampers with your car and their corporate does not honor warranties! Do not buy from Northtown Hyundai/Subaru or Hyundai period! You will be ripped off! More
