I’m kind of disappointed. I was there just for a buy out my lease and everyone “ it’s so busy “. Anyway, I asked just to find out an interest rate. They said they will check my credit, which is very good, and they will check with few banks for a rate. I waited 3 hours and nothing happened. I spoke finally with a financial manager and he assured me he will contact me I a day or two. It passed 4. Nobody contacted me. Yesterday I texted him, I called him. No response. I hope I can get by November 17 when my lease expires. I don’t understand why we can’t do it over the phone, the seen the car, inspection was done, it takes like 30 min to solve this problem. Went to Northstar Kia Service get a full checkup/service ahead of a cross-country move/drive (NYC to LA) scheduled for December. I left Park Slope Brooklyn early so as to get to the Service Center early so ahead of a cross-country move/drive (NYC to LA) scheduled for December. I left Park Slope Brooklyn early so as to get to the Service Center early so I could get in and out. However, Waze kept taking me to a Kia used car lot and several other locations that were NOT Northstar Kia Service. Finally, after about 20 min of driving around the area, I found it... and unfortunately LATE for my 8 am appointment. Ugh. But the minute I sat down with Cosmo, he IMMEDIATELY put me at ease... told me 'it's all good', 'we'll get you in and out quick' and 'don't worry, we got this' (which he absolutely did). Not only that, during the service itself, not more than 10 minutes would go by before he would come find me and give me an update on how things were going and when to expect my car to be done. He explained everything in detail and provided recommendations IN ADVANCE with EXACT COST ESTIMATES on what I should get, what I really needed and what I didn't really need. This was true customer service at its finest. As a former Client Service Exec, there's an old saying I used to tell my employees: "If they know nothing of what you are doing, they suspect you are doing nothing". Translated -- manage expectations and keep your client informed because it builds TRUST and LOYALTY. Cosmo is a true pro and understands this powerful concept more than ANY other service center person I've been to since purchasing my Kia in 2018. In summary, IN SUMMARY -- I received superb customer service, my vehicle got the service that I needed. You can't ask for more than that. Because of Cosmo, I am 100% satisfied and 100% confident that the work was done to the highest standards. Thank you Cosmo and Northstar Kia. You are awesome. When I am back in the area to visit family, I will DEFINITELY schedule any required service with Northstar KIA. Count on it. More
