They will not respond to any calls as they try to sell the car you are supposed to come in for and they just keep you in the dark as a backup option. Added $4000 on top of listed price. Robert Xerri Runs A Circus On Monday, June 15th I went to Northstar Kia located at 46-05 Northern Blvd, Qns with the intention to buy a 2014 Mercedes Sprinter that I viewed onli On Monday, June 15th I went to Northstar Kia located at 46-05 Northern Blvd, Qns with the intention to buy a 2014 Mercedes Sprinter that I viewed online. I had an appointment set but when I arrived everyone was confused by my presence, Jerome the sales rep took about 3 hours to find the van in the first place, we walked back and forth between 3 lots to locate it. After finally locating it I was told I couldn't test drive it because it required an inspection. I told Jerome there is no selling required, I need a van for my quadriplegic brother ASAP and I already chose this one online. I walked into their main shop shocked to see dozens of people not following COVID-19 guidelines. Both employees and customers were not social distancing, wearing masks or gloves. People were stacked on top of each other, shaking hands and they were allowing test drives in the same vehicles without disinfecting in between. The advertised price for the Sprinter was $18,995. After finally getting down to the paperwork I was told the price is $24,995. Clear bait and switch. After hours of back and forth with the manager Anthony I finally settled on $22k as it wasn't bad compared to other locations, I was in a rush and already wasted 10 hours in this place. Despite their unprofessional work practices, I still made it easy for them. They could not finish the paperwork in time so I had to return the next day. I was told the van would be inspected and ready for me by the time I return. I arrived the next day to pay for the van with a bank check, after taking my money in the first minute of arrival (the manager actually immediately left the premises to go deposit it), and THEN they informed me that the van had mechanical issues and needed additional work. This was clearly the reason for the delay on the day of purchase--they just lied and said it didn't have an inspection to stall. This work would take another day and I'd have to return tomorrow. Sure enough, it was not ready the next day. After two days Anthony started ignoring my calls, after two weeks Jerome started ignoring. After two and a half weeks I showed up at the shop on June 3rd to speak to the manager, Anthony was not there so I spoke with Efrain. I expressed my grievances to him, explained the timeline and simply said they are salesman--their one job is communication and they fail at it. I wanted my car or my money returned by Monday. Before I walked out, I told him the entire shop is unprofessional and inefficient just like their website (I went on to leave a review and it was not working). During my drive home from the shop, Robert Xerri, the owner of this joke of a business, called me screaming, cursing and threatening my life. He was yelling at me for publicly expressing my issues in front of other customers and then blamed me for his website being down! He threatened to take my personal identity information he received from my purchase and use it against me. He called me seven times in three minutes, texted me nonstop so I had to block him. This "business" and the owner of it is a joke! No wonder they changed their branding two years ago to try and hide their shady business practices. Eventually the truth catches up with you and all of the fake reviews you purchase just aren't good enough. Avoid them at all costs. More

Jon’s quick responses to my questions along with Anthony’s flexibility truly made this an amazing experience. Given the circumstances of the pandemic, the online buying and car delivery option took such a weight off of my shoulders as I tried to figure out the safest way to get a car during this time. Northstar Kia and their amazing representatives (Jon and Anthony) were way ahead of me and before I knew it my Kia Seltos was delivered to my house and keys were in hand. Found a car my wife really wanted. Agreed to pay full ask. Told them I lived out of state and asked if they wanted a deposit. They said no and we could take care if paperwork when I got there. This car dealer ship it unbelievable unprofessional! I wanted to buy a car which North Star listed at Carfax. At the beginning the salesmen not even know that they habe the car. After 1 hour on the phone wanted to buy a car which North Star listed at Carfax. At the beginning the salesmen not even know that they habe the car. After 1 hour on the phone he found it, same day later he send me a video from outside and offered me for the next day an video for the I side. On Friday we agreed via phone that I will buy the car. I send, as requested a picture of my drivers license to prepare the paper work. Finally after I had to recheck again and again I received a call from Joxxxx, to request payment for the car. I informed her that I would like to get an finance offer. I gave her my SSN and send her income verification and agreed on Credit Check. North Star run the credit check on Saturday - which was a hard credit request - and then did nothing! I contacted the salesmen and he let me know, there are very busy but he got me. I offered to pay 500-1,000 down to secure the car. He promised me that we will close the deal on Sunday. But again nothing happened! Not even responded to my call anymore. On Monday morning to my surprise they run another hard credit check on me - without my consent. I called the salesmen Olxxxxxx and asked what’s going on? Are we getting this finally done? And then to my surprise he I formed me that the car was sold over the weekend, which he didn’t mentioned to me on Saturday or Sunday, or when I offered to secure the car with a small down payment. This car dealership wasted my time, cost me 2 hard inquires on my credit report and another good car deal - which I turned down - because I believed the salesmen I got you covered. And when I tried to reach out to the owner or the operation manager, the staff got an attitude with me and asked me “what you want” and “what’s my problem”? Don’t waste your time or credit score; don’t risk headaches -> I would stay away from this car dealer / car dealer group. More
