I just recently purchased a Lexus ES 350 from a non Lexus dealership who, in the process of repairing simple body damage caused by their own negligence, failed to put my AC back together properly. When my AC failed, I scheduled, what I thought would be warranty work with Northside Lexus. It has been several years since I had a car serviced by Northside, so when I walked in at 7:45am for my 8am appointment and there wasn't a very friendly greeting awaiting me (NO ONE was smiling!!), I became a bit skeptical. My service agent, Liz Rincon wasn't all smiles, either, but she was very professional and compassionate to my frustrations after she verified that my factory had expired several months before my paperwork indicated. I didn't have my extended warranty information handy, but Liz told me to email her the information. Now, to the service of my vehicle: Northside Lexus service people not only diagnosed the problem, but were also able to determine that the problem was caused by the other dealership's improper and negligent mechanics. Due to these findings,Northside Lexus really scrutinized my vehicle to ensure everything else was operating properly and in Lexus standard condition. Northside Lexus communicated the findings to the warranty company who subsequently denied the claim. Liz, via telephone, email, and fax they forwarded all information and documentation of problems found and steps for repair to the other dealership's customer service department who will be doing the repairs, at no cost to me. I don't really believe that another service shop would have or could have made the same assessments of my vehicle and determine who the real culprit was and go the extra mile to hold them accountable. Liz Rincon even expressed Lexus' willingness to inspect the work once the other dealership have completed it. I traded in my 1998 ES 300 that had 350,654 miles on it, so, I know, first hand, that it is great service that will increase the life of a car. Northside Lexus serviced my 1998 Lexus many times and, today, they proved that their great service has not changed. Note: The service person who pulled my car out, unwittingly, parked it in the pouring rain and Liz drove it back under the carport for me to get into. Those type of things stand out to me. I purchased & serviced this vehicle in Baton Rouge. This is the first time to have it serviced here in Houston. It took about 5 hours for the 65000 mile check-up. I just felt that it was a long wait. I was told the car would be finished in 1 1/2 hours after the initial oil change, which would have made it 12:30pm. I did not get lunch. After 1pm, I kept asking how much longer and kept being told that it would be soon. I didn't leave until after 2pm. The dealership in Baton Rouge has snacks for their customers, which I wish Northside had since it was a long wait. More
Service was provided effeciently and accomodated my schedule needs. The waiting area is comfortable and allowed personal work to be completed. I have to say my experience with Northside lexus has not been good one.and after 2 years of servicing my vehicle with them i will no longer use them are recommend anyone to them. I took my Lexus for service after making an appointment and it seemed that i could not get any response back. After my service was taken care i notice grease smudges all over my car as if the mechanic clean his dirty hands with the headline of my car.I contacted management and still have not revived a response back i guess i was just a number to them after all.
