The dealership and Dino Urdiales are top notch in my book. I traveled various dealerships in San Antonio and have had encounters with pushy salesman, obnoxious, and some that do not even know the vehicles they are selling. Dino never pushed and was professional at all times and I highly recommend him to anyone wanting a new Ford. The sales manager which I did not get his name was also great in working rebates in my purchase. I did not feel cheated walking out the door as I usually do when I purchase a car. I felt good and had secured a great deal and was all smiles as I drove my F150 FX4 off that lot! I will definitley become a loyal member to Northside Ford from this point on. More
My truck came in for crank and no start. The service team was great at getting it fixed and back to me in a timely manner. The reason they recieved a lower rating is we spent $1600; they didn't do a courtesy was great at getting it fixed and back to me in a timely manner. The reason they recieved a lower rating is we spent $1600; they didn't do a courtesy wash and they gave me the truck back with the tank on empty with 0 miles to empty. They claim that they do not wash vehicles after service and that they do not give out fuel. More
Had an engine oil leak, not bad, just seepage, but wanted to know cost to fix it. I purchased and installed the engine oil dye myself, two days later I dropped off the vehicle for the estimate. I was given to know cost to fix it. I purchased and installed the engine oil dye myself, two days later I dropped off the vehicle for the estimate. I was given an absolutely absurd estimate for the simple repair - I contacted 3 other Ford dealers and got quotes which were just over half the Northside price for repairing the leak. I went in to speak with the Northside rep, to ensure there was no mistake on the outrageous telephone quote. As it turned out, I had heard them correctly. I asked if they would meet the other dealer's quotes, or even just get close; I was told there was no one at the dealership who could make that decision for Northside. I told them in that case, I wanted to pick up my vehicle and take it elsewhere for the repair. Then they told me that I would still have to pay a diagnostic fee of $45 - even though I've been their customer for years and I put in the dye myself! But, they shined a black light on the vehicle and apparently that was worth $45... and they lost a customer in the process. I wonder how many other customers get gouged because they don't do additional research, and just write a check for the bloated repair cost... Henry Ford once said that "service that isn't good, isn't service." Northside is doing their customers a disservice, and I'll make sure to tell everyone I can. More
We purchased a 2010 focus. WE service our ford here regularly. In 2011 we came in for service on our 2010 and just to test drive the 2012 focus we were not intending to purchase one that day. Another s regularly. In 2011 we came in for service on our 2010 and just to test drive the 2012 focus we were not intending to purchase one that day. Another salesman on the floor helped us. We explained to him of our purchase here in 2010. We took the test drive. Shortly after we came back in to the showroom, the salesman was pulled aside by a sales manager, the manager did not tell us what was going on which was rude in my opinion. the manager then approached us ann told us rather rudely that they have a policy of using the same salesman which we purchased out 2010 from. We had no intention of purchasing that day and told him this also, and after that rude manager encounter, we will definetly not purchase another car from this dealership. More
I highly recommend Nortside Ford for servicing and repairing any Ford vehicle. My 2002 Ford Windstar required minor repairs to the headlight module, which "accidentlly" came off when backing out of my garage. Nortside went out of their way to find after-market replacement parts, saving me signigicant repair costs. In addition, the existing headlight module lens was polished to match the new lens, and all work was completed within the promised time. We were contacted during the repairs to keep us informed on the expected completion of work, which helped with scheduling the vehicle pickup. Great job to the entire service team ar Nortside Ford! We took our 2007 Ford Edge in to get the bearings replaced on the right front wheel. We were initially given an estimate of $350. After they had the car, they told us $450. When we called them on it, replaced on the right front wheel. We were initially given an estimate of $350. After they had the car, they told us $450. When we called them on it, they reduced the price. Within 24 hours, the power steering pump went out. We had to have it towed back and have the power steering pump replaced - $712. Within 3 days, we noticed that we were getting spots on our driveway. We took it back and insisted on checking their previous work. Nope! Now we have an oil leak under the gear box. "It's not like it's $1,000 or anything. It's only around $400 to fix." I can see MAYBE the coincidence in the first situation. There's no coincidence in this happening twice. I believe someone there is doing damage to our vehicle so they can get more money. We will never go back there and will never buy a car from them. I suggest everyone stay away! You'll end up with more problems that when you started! More
Gary was outstanding and kept me well informed throughout the process/services on my truck. The mechanic, name unknown, was also exceptional. I initially brought my vehicle in for a check engine light and the process/services on my truck. The mechanic, name unknown, was also exceptional. I initially brought my vehicle in for a check engine light and the problem could not be detected. The mechanic told me what to do if it went on again and reset it. Two days later, something else felt wrong and back in I went. The same mechanic took it for a ride and knew what was wrong. He spent the whole weekend trying to determine the exact problem. He fixed it and then went back after the check engine light problem since he already had my truck. He found that problem and returned my truck with everything fixed. I could not be more happy and satisfied. I travel twice as far to get service at Northside Ford and pass another Ford dealership....they are that good. During this entire period, Gary Bloomer kept me well informed and made the visit worry-free. Amazing service, thank God my co-workers recommended Northside, I already received great service. 5 thumbs up (: More
