I wa Waited on your service drive Monday several minutes by my truck and not one person ever spoke to me. There was no line, I was the only one there. I walked into the service writer's area and still no one even looked my way. I finely asked for help and was told no service until Friday. Too busy to even be polite? I drive a 2008 F-150 and get flyers from your dealership inviting me into both sales and service regularly so I come in only to be ignored, a waste of advertising $$$$. More

Unhappy After the Sale I purchased a 2012 Ford Cerified Lariat F250 Vehicle paid over 50K for a Certified truck. When I noticed that the trailer mirrors and the vanity ligh I purchased a 2012 Ford Cerified Lariat F250 Vehicle paid over 50K for a Certified truck. When I noticed that the trailer mirrors and the vanity lights weren't working, I purchased it on 06/13 and I took it on on 06/19 to schedule repairs. After waiting 2 1/2 hours I inquired to the service writer named Tom. He told me he had to wait for pictures to be sent to Ford for approval to get warranty authorization. I was really upset because I had to inquire myself to get answers. In this day in time customer interaction is very important. My argument is if I was sold a Ford Certified Truck. It should be Cerified. I don't see how ford can certify a vehicle with problems and to top it off, the tires are worn out more than 1/2 of their life. I would not have accepted it but my wife bought it for me as a wedding anniversary gift. I believe Northside ford took advantage of my wife. Cerified to me is that the vehicle is in tip top shape. I drive it to the so called dealership to get it serviced, but in the rain it wasn't safe to drive due to the worn out tires. The used car sales manager tried to resolve the situation but made it worse when he tried to BS me with the "president awards displayed. In the sales floor.. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone. I don't care what they have displayed on the sales floor. To me that is just a gimmick to draw people in. More
Beware of after market service When the 2011 Mustangs became available, I purchased one from Northside Ford. After driving the car for a few months, I decided to purchase two conti When the 2011 Mustangs became available, I purchased one from Northside Ford. After driving the car for a few months, I decided to purchase two continental tires to provide additional traction as the rear set. In addition to the tires, I also purchased two new rims and had Northside service department install the tires on the rims and then install them on the car. While installing the tires on the rims, they installed them incorrectly which resulted in damaging the tire over time. Within 13000 miles, the tires would no longer hold air. My first thought was that the tire had a nail, so I took the car to a local Discount Tire. They examined the tire and found that the tire installation had damaged the beading and would ruin the tire over time. After putting the tire in the trunk, I took it to Northside Ford to find a solution. They immediately denied responsibility since Discount Tire took the tire apart. OK, since I was unable to know when the tire may have been damaged. I tried to find a conjoint solution. Since I didn’t believe I would get new tires and because they only had 13 K (documented since I purchased the tires at Northside Ford), I asked if they would prorate the tire. They refused. I asked if they could do anything for me and they said no. I was very disappointed in the service I received. As I stated, I didn’t expect new tires, but with the limited use, I had hoped they would provide a prorated value. When you consider the price of the car and paying an additional $1500.00 for the tires and rims, I had hoped for better customer appreciation. I will never purchase a vehicle at Northside Ford nor have service performed again. Alsp, I would NOT recommend this dealership interested in buying a new car. More
The All Stars of Service Departments! I cannot express how much I appreciate those who work in the Service department at Northside Ford. I have been bringing my vehicles for service there I cannot express how much I appreciate those who work in the Service department at Northside Ford. I have been bringing my vehicles for service there for years and each time they seem to go out of their way to take care of me. Javier has always greeted me when I arrive and has always gone out of his way to make me feel like a valued customer and always works with me on any service I need done. Javier is a first class act I really appreciate him and have total confidence on his opinion when it comes to the service of my vehicles. Today, I had service worked on my vehicle that has been an issue for some time. After taking a look on how long we have been trying to get this problem corrected the service Manager Mike went out of his way to take care of this for me which left me very grateful. These guys are All Stars in my book and as a military guy I appreciate their integrity and highly recommend them and Northside Ford service department to any and every Ford owner in the San Antonio area. I went to this dealership a couple times. Once with a friend that was looking for a used vehicle. The sales person said he wouldn't even give us a price on a used truck until we were qualified for a loan friend that was looking for a used vehicle. The sales person said he wouldn't even give us a price on a used truck until we were qualified for a loan, so we left. I went back later to get some work done on my FX4. They did the work that I paid for but that was it. I didn't get the feeling that the service writer could care less about what i had to say. I told him about a leak around my sunroof and he made it sound like it was my responsibility to take my truck to the trim guys at his work to get it looked at. Don't they all office under the same roof? The work was done that I asked to be done but that was it, minus the sunroof leak. I have taken my truck to Mcombs Ford West to have much less expensive work done and they asked repeatedly if I was taken care of. I left with a wasted truck, didn't ask for it to be washed it just was, and at no extra charge. I also received a phone call from them to make sure that they performed service to my satisfaction. The only thing I got from North Side Ford was a $600 bill and a solicitation in the mail that North Side wanted to buy my truck and sell me a new one. If they weren't so close to my office, I would have never gone there. I promise you I will never go back. More
We were very satisfied with this experience in our 20,000 mile checkup for our 2012 FWD Ford Fusion this month in all of the above areas! The only thing we wished that was different was that we wished they mile checkup for our 2012 FWD Ford Fusion this month in all of the above areas! The only thing we wished that was different was that we wished they had drop off service while one waits for the checkup. Tommy and Jesse, thanks for the experience. More
I just called northside due to a oil leak that I had recently developed on my 2010 F150, the receptionist was very friendly and forwarded my call to a service advisor "Stephanie". That is when things we recently developed on my 2010 F150, the receptionist was very friendly and forwarded my call to a service advisor "Stephanie". That is when things went down hill quickly. I stated to Stephanie that I had an oil leak and I'm assuming that it was coming from the transmission, she immediately cut me off and stated that the "transmission guy was booked for three weeks", I proceed to tell her that it was a leak and it was not an internal transmission problem and I'm also just assuming that it was coming from the transm... You guessed it... I got cut off again and she stated "there are other Ford dealers in San Antonio, you might give them a call to see if they can get you in quicker". Okay..., I understand you guys are busy, can I make an appointment for the oil leak, my turn signal is not operating and I have a lower RPM "clunk" as well... Stephanie: THE SIGNAL IS A BULB AND THE CLUNK IS A MAINTENANCE ITEM THAT SHOULD OF BEEN TAKEN CARE OF AT 30K MIKES!... WTF! I immediately called another dealer that could assist in a professional manner. The other dealer stated that they would get my truck in within 48 hours, diagnose the oil leak, signal (bulbs are fine Stephanie - I would of told you that but you would of cut me off) and lubricate the slip joint under warranty. Thank you!!! I'm also in the market for a Raptor or Platinum since my F150 is paid off and I tend to upgrade about every three years!!! More
