I actually had to search out Charles Young. I have bought probably 10 vehicles or so off him in the last about 5 or so years. I like the fact that he is extremely cordial and does not give you the "hand off" (in other words my manager would like to talk to you routine). He also is never pushy and actually lets you decide hey do I really want this vehicle. His demeanor has never been anything but professional and he is a valuable asset to whatever dealership he works at. The whole experience at Northside was nice and I don't believe we ran into anyone that wasn't friendly or wanting to help. Now I'll see how everything goes once I'm in for any type of maintenance. A $50,000 vehicle is a big decision and I know I have a lot of faith and trust in Charles and so that great interaction brings me back to buying from him. Randy More
This was the best new vehicle car experience I have ever had. I left the dealership with the vehicle I was looking for, at the price I wanted to pay and without any ill feelings. It was almost like going to the grocery store to purchase a loaf of bread. I had heard an advertisement on the radio and I called the NorthSide to confirm what I had heard. Curtis answered the phone and told me they had sold the last vehicle that had been prepared for this deal but that there were others vehicles that could be prepared. After some research on the internet I determined it was a deal I could not pass up. The next time I am in the market for a new vehicle I will be calling Curtis and NorthSide ford. More
This was to be the first of four Ford dealerships we planned on visiting before buying the F150. I did lots of research on the truck, so I knew exactly what I was looking for. Mr Markland worked to insure that the deal I offered was accepted by his sales manager. This was not a small task, since I offered over $2,000 less than the asking price for a used vehicle. Finally, Mr Markland offered to help to get the vehicle home as I could not find someone to drive the car to my home. I have purchased many vehicles in my 55 years of age and there was always haggling and in many cases underhanded things the dealerships would do such as try to give me nothing for my trade-in, change the te there was always haggling and in many cases underhanded things the dealerships would do such as try to give me nothing for my trade-in, change the terms of the agreement (literally changing the prices, interest rates, length of payments, etc from one piece of paper to the next) to purposefully try to squeeze me for every nickel...and as I said, many many times in unethical ways. I've always heard dealerships tout no haggle or hassle free dealings, but until now had not actually experienced it. Not only were Kenny and his manager most professional, the numbers provided me were spot on with what I should be paying for the truck (verified through Edmunds). While the amount they quoted me for my trade-in was lower than I knew it was worth, when I saw the entire invoice I saw that they had reduced the sticker price substantially, on top of the incentives that I had already known about and were promised, resulting in an actual lower price for the vehicle than I had anticipated. I had to re-check the math when their offer to me came under the TMV for the vehicle and the offer for my trade-in was above what I knew was the trade-in value. In other words, I was momentarily speechless when I realized this was the case. Then, I thought, here it comes...they'll try to slap on a high interest rate and/or give me a high pressure sales pitch to try to get me to purchase an extended warrenty plan. Again, to my suprise and amazement, they (the finance guy) was able to get me a very low interest rate and did not pressure me regarding the warrenty plan. After purchasing probably 12 or more new cars in my lifetime I can say this truly was a no hassle, and actually enjoyable experience...with no after taste in my mouth or thought in my mind that I had been taken to the cleaners. All dealings were up front, fair and a win win for both parties. I sincerly appreciate it. I will wholeheartedly tell anyone about my positive experience.
