Between my wife and I, we are typically in a vehicle purchase cycle about every 3 years, and to be honest I look forward to it about as much as I look forward to my annual physical. Vehicle shopping is usually a painful but necessary fact of life...that was until I met Garrett Alderman and the fine folks at Northside Ford. I am a third generation San Antonian and have been on the majority of the car dealerships in the San Antonio area throughout my life, but have NEVER experienced anything remotely close to the positive experience that I've recently had while at Northside Ford. As a smart shopper in the computer age, I had spent the better part of the last year doing my due diligence visiting all the other area Ford dealerships online and in person, but in the end no other dealership had the final critical component; the unique sales approach and style of Garrett Alderman. I visited the lot on the afternoon of August 14th and Garrett showed us a few vehicles and was very thorough about answering all of our questions and made sure to point out all the critical features of the F-150. I found great prices on the trucks out at Jennings Anderson Ford, but in the end I felt that I owed it to Garrett to come visit with him one last time before I made my final decision purchase. So, this past Saturday evening, exactly 4 weeks since we last stepped on the lot, I stopped onto the lot and to my surprise, Garrett remembered me and my family and the exact vehicle that I had been shopping for, an F-150 (he even remembered the exact color and spot on the lot of the last vehicle we looked at...amazing). From there on it was just a matter of picking out the final vehicle that I wanted and then getting on with the paperwork. Garrett's manager and the rest of the team were stellar and made closing the deal as painless as possible. A lot can be learned from Garrett's low-pressure style and high customer service approach, as HE is what brought me and my family back. You now have a family of customers for life. I enjoyed my visit to your dealership saturday the 4th of September 2010. My sales person was Ryan Sandvig and he was not only great with customer service he did his best to give the deal that i wanted. Unfo September 2010. Unfortunately, we did come very close to matching the deal that i wanted however, we did compromise and i bought a certified used F-150 XLT. I am returning to the dealership this wednesday so we can put on the running boards and get the truck detailed. My experience was exciting because we had most managers and even the general manager trying to give me the best deal possible. I have to say i was determined on getting the deal i wanted and we got close enough and i was convinced that it was the best we could do. Overall, i am pleased with my visit and i will recommend future customers. More

From the time we walked into the dealership I was very impressed with everything. I used to work as a ASST. SERVICE MANAGER almost 40 years ago. I know what to look for and I have to say this place has everything in order. From the time you walk into the dealership until you drive out with the car. It is too bad all dealerships are not as good as this one. The sales staff were very nice, and what is important they know their facts. They don't give you any crap. It is business and they made us feel good. They were friendly to us at every step in the operation. When speaking about the price they did not get upset with me. I spoke up for my son, an Iraq vertran of six times. They gave him the respect the military guys need to have. They deserve to have all the military personal come to them for their own cars. We were at another one on 410; but they turned me off. They would not deal for the price and they seemed to have a faulse face. The young man we dealt with was very pride full and only went so far. I am glad to say that Northside has proven to me that their are truly good people in the car business. I take my hat off to them; the salesman, JACK, was so nice, friendly, he even thanked me for my service, too. Do I think you should go to this dealership; i think if you don't you will miss a very nice sales experience of your life. it was that great.
