I recently contacted the collision department to schedule an appointment for an estimate. Unfortunately, the representative who answered my call was not particularly helpful or courteous. Despite my attempts to explain what my insurance told me or if it was necessary I could pay out of pocket, she abruptly ended the call, leaving me feeling frustrated and upset. She said she couldn't schedule my appointment because she was the only one there, like I don't see that as an issue. In addition to her rudeness, I was disappointed that she seemed to be misinformed about my insurance coverage and disregard me saying I could pay out of pocket. I have the relevant paperwork in front of me, which clearly states that I have the freedom to choose any dealership or repair shop that I prefer. Yet, she insisted that I could only work with certain providers, which was not the case. After the call ended, I attempted to reach out to the representative again, but my calls went unanswered. This lack of responsiveness only added to my negative experience with the dealership's collision department. I hope that in the future, the dealership's representatives can be more informed and courteous, and that they will take steps to ensure that customers receive the service and attention they deserve. Attaching proof that my insurance has no problem with whatever shop I decide to use. More
I live out of town and bought my 2022 Silverado Duramax Certified Preowned. Cristobal Cavazos was the dealer that was helping me and he text me and told me he had this truck with 98 miles on it and had all Certified Preowned. Once I showed up the truck had 2k miles, not the 98 that he texted me. The rest of the sale went smoothly a few days later I noticed that the parking sensor (the beeping noise) wasn't working. After some digging, I found out this is related to the chip shortage I text Cris, and he told me to take it to a locate dealer for help and that dealer confirmed my thoughts. Once I told this to Cris he told me the truck had the chip in then later recanted that statement and told me the truck was on the list to get the chip when it come in. Thanks to an internet search I also learned that the emergency braking feature also doesn't work because of the missing chip. I was not made aware of the safety risk that this truck had on it at the dealership. Not even two weeks after I purchased this truck my check engine light came on and it is an exhaust issue. I text Cris and got nothing back from him on this. I have messaged the dealership and called the GM and left a voicemail and still nothing. Nothing better than getting tricked into buying a car and then getting ghosted by them when you need them the most. Northside Chevrolet cant is trusted. More

Signed off on a loan and was told my vehicle would be ready next business day. Come next business day vehicle is still not ready. He advised me that they work with all types of credit situations and to complete a credit application, come to the dealership and talk with one of their sales guys. I made an appointment and was put in contact with Sales Consultant JD Hamzah. I again explained my situation and he was very optimistic and excited to help me. He was professional, considerate, and very willing to do what he could to help me get in the vehicle I wanted. He showed me a few vehicles that fit exactly what I was looking for. We went for a test drive in one of them. We went through the application process, and to my surprise and after being told no by other dealerships, Northside Chevrolet was able to get me approved for the vehicle that I wanted. JD did a great job. I am very pleased with my purchase. Thanks JD. You are doing a great job my brother. More
To make this quick - BEWARE of their bait & switch tactics! Was given a quote on a specific truck. Told the dealer I was going to show up at a certain time. Followed through completely, just for the dealership to tell me the truck was sold just prior to my arrival. No call to inform me of this before driving over an hour across town (Although I requested they do so to avoid an unnecessary trip). They were very persistent about trying to sell me another truck at a much higher price. I’m pretty certain they completely lied about having the first truck in stock to begin with. More
