Service Advisor, Chris Peters was professional, very friendly and quite accommodating. Truck was repaired, price was good....and I was on my way. Must also mentioned other employees of Northgate Ford were also professional and friendly. As all these "positives" appear to be genuine, I will not hesitate to bring my Truck, or any other vehicle for servicing there. More

I brought my truck in for its first scheduled service appointment for 5000mi check & oil change. I informed the service advisor that I had two other items that were defects in the truck. One was a defective seal which is literally a 5 min exchange. The other was to reset a setting that I could not find in the myFord system...again, probably a 5 min fix. The service advisor was not interested in hearing my request and informed me that I would need to bring the truck back for those items. Mind you I live 45mins away, and after informing him of this he condescendingly repeated his statement to schedule another appointment. The customer waiting area was also dirty with limited refreshments. I just relocated from Detroit to Cincinnati and have bought many GM and Ford vehicles over the years. All I can say is that NorthGate should benchmark some of the dealerships in Detroit where the customer is treated with respect and the dealer goes out of their way to meet their needs. The dealers also have nice cafe's with great amenities. When you spend as much as we do on vehicles the customer should be treated respectfully. More

My wife was taking our 2012 Explorer on a long trip w our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter so we had Northgate's service department inspect it for any issues, change oil, check brakes, charging etc. They found a marginal battery and replaced it w a competitively priced replacement. The trip was over 2,800 miles of trouble free driving. We really like how they review our options after diagnosis, let us know if a repair needs to be completed immediately of if it can ride until the next service. More

After driving the vehicle back to Idaho where I live, I made an attempt to transfer extended warrantys with my local dealership, and they left me hanging. I got in touch with Cheryll Hendrickson and asked for her help beings the vehicle was purchased at her dealership, and the extended warrantys were purchased there also. The Mustang had come from an estate sale, and Cheryll helped me get a release from the attorney for the estate so I could transfer the warrantys to my name. Here is a person who was willing to work with me from 2000 miles away, and my local dealership 4 miles away just gave me a number for Corporate Ford and sent me on my way stating that there was nothing they could do.
