I bought a 2013 F150 8 months ago. The molded lead harness went out. They have had my truck for over two weeks and still no part to fix it. It's covered under an extended warranty. I asked to talk to a customer service manager and they were to busy to talk to me. Still haven't received a call back from the service manager. I called a few day ago and was told that they were actively working on my truck to be told 3 days later the part isn't even in. I am beyond frustrated that you sold me a truck that had a known issue that wasn't fixed before the sale and that it's been 2 weeks and still no part in. I don't k ow that i will buy from or recommend anyone shop you store or use your service dept if this is acceptable practice at you establishment. More
I have an F350 dually that went in for what For has determined by Ford Motors company to be a 10.2 hour recall on a bearing in the transmission. I put it in the shop on Monday May 24th. I went in and spoke to the service manager yesterday and discussed the apparent lack of progress. I have been satisfied in the past with the preventive maintenance service at Northgate Ford. I will say that their ability to perform repair or corrective maintenance is questionable at best. Should you consider them for this type of repair be very mindful of this. I am supposed to receive a call at some point today on my trucks repair. I have little to no hope that I will be getting it back today. More
Started taking my F250 diesel to Northgate Ford for service and was generally pleased, until they started handling diesel service through their quick lane department. The quick lane department does no service and was generally pleased, until they started handling diesel service through their quick lane department. The quick lane department does not know diesels and should not work on diesels!!! Had the exact same issue with Kerry Ford when they switched diesel service to quick lane. Latest issue was with them charging for an entire container of DEF, when I told them I had just topped it off the day before. Not only did I get charged, they dumped it all over the inside of the fuel compartment and let run down the side of the vehicle, and just left it there. For those unfamiliar with DEF, it is an acid and it says right on the container ... do not get this on your paint and if you do, make sure you clean it off immediately. Also wanted to charge me for a new oil pan plug at only 40,000 miles when ALL my recent oil changes have been done by them. So who messed up the plug? Not going to be returning any time soon. More
Bought 2013 Chevy Equinox in Sept 2020. Had in service in Dec due to a noise when starting car and putting in reverse. Ofcourse after sitting for over 2.5 hours they could not find anything wrong. Asked to keep over night and drive it home to see if makes noise in morning. Still could not hear noise. Explained that when I got home noticed wet spot on driveway that it was leaking in front. Stated they would have a look. Never even acknowledged the leak. Fast forward to this week, have it into Chevy service for recall. Low and behold the exhaust manifold has a hole and water pump has a leak. This is the issue of noise and leak. Just so happens my warranty ended March 5th, 2021 and reason I had car into them in December so it could be fixed under warranty. Nothing they can do for me, they do not believe that this is the issue I was having in December. BUYERS BEWARE! Do not buy used car from Northgate Ford and think having the 6 month warranty will help you out in any way. Will NEVER set foot in this place again and will make sure all my friends and family do not either! More
