We did receive the call and was told the other party was no longer interested, we informed the salesman at that time we were interested and we would be driving in from out of town and we were serious about the purchase of the vehicle, we would be there shortly. We arrived on the lot an hour or so later and located the vehicle parked in a strange location on the backside of the lot. We just got out to take a look when a salesman drove buy and asked us who we were, we told him and he told us that the car was sold ( I might add that he was rude in the way he asked us the questions and continued to drive on). We went inside to question the individual we had talked to over the phone and who had told us to come on out, Ed, he seemed pleasant enough, but he seemed confused about what was going on as he went to the back to locate the keys for the vehicle. At that time we could see that he was having a discussion with the sales manager along with the salesman that we had encountered on the lot, you could tell that he was upset and frustrated with what was happening. Ed, came back to us and apologized and explained that after he had called us and advised us to come on out, someone else had called and talked to another sales agent, that sales agent knew that we were coming out so he went to the sales manager to see if he could take a deposit over the phone from the other people to hold the vehicle for them without even seeing it or knowing if they were qualified to buy it. The manager told him to accept it and that left us out in the cold having driven an hour each way standing there with money in hand to purchase it right now and we had contacted them first. That is extremely poor customer service in my book by the sales manager and he didn't come over to explain his stupid way of thinking, he watched as he sent Ed to explain it to us. The manager screwed up, he should have been the one to talk to us. Being in customer service for over 35 years myself I can tell you that customer service and customer relations can be just as important as price (the salesman on the lot we first encountered as well as the manger have no customer skills causing bad experience and a waste of my valuable time). This being said I can tell you I will never step on Northgate Ford's lot again and advise my friends not to also and I will never step on a Ford lot again as well, way to go guys. More

I was referred to sales consultant Mike Gerrein, after establishing that the SUV was what I wanted, we worked out a deal that I felt great about. This was the best experience I ever had buying a car, the process was very efficient there wasn't a lot of wasted time in any one area. Mike was very informative, kind, and patient just an overall good guy. Thanks Mike for such a positive car buying experience. More

first car purchase and it was great I had been looking for a new car for a month or so when I finally went to this dealership. Right away I saw this car that really caught my eye and tha I had been looking for a new car for a month or so when I finally went to this dealership. Right away I saw this car that really caught my eye and that I would eventually buy. Chris was so helpful in helping me make the decisions I needed to make. It had been a long day, but they took care of me and got me out of there as quickly as possible. They set up everything that night for me to go back the next day and sign. I had to delay things due to a family emergency, but they held the car for me and Chris got it all ready for me. I eventually made it in to sign all the documents and everyone was very helpful in answering all the questions I had regarding my first new car purchase. Would definitely recommend this dealership to friends and family. More

Sheryll truly was attentive to my needs, and spent time trying to find me the best deal. Because of my credit score, the bank required a downpayment. As soon as I get that together, I'll return to this dealership -- this was the best experience I've had in a dealership! Next month when I arrive, I know what I need to bring to the table. More

Best experience I have had buying a vehicle! We were recently in the market for a new SUV as our family is expanding and we were not satisfied with our GMC Acadia. Ed Welsh did a fantastic job of getting our needs/wants in line and showing us vehicles that matched what we were looking for perfectly. He was thorough when answering all questions and did not pressure us whatsoever. We went to several dealerships and felt nowhere near as comfortable as we did working with Ed. Overall a very refreshing experience and we will certainly be back next time we are in the market!!! More
