Did not buy I scheduled an appointment to see a 2009 Toyota Tacoma Northgate had recieved on trade-in. After discussing the truck with the sales manager Ken and I scheduled an appointment to see a 2009 Toyota Tacoma Northgate had recieved on trade-in. After discussing the truck with the sales manager Ken and sales rep Ed I left to consider my options regarding the purchase of the truck. After recieving a follow up call from Ed I expressed my concern over price and that I did not believe the price reflected the true value of the vehicle. He offered to discuss this with his sales manager and get back to me with their "best offer". He got back with me and told me that 19,500 was the absolute best they can do on the truck and not any lower. He also expressed to me that he had several customers who had scheduled appointments to test drive the truck during the upcomming weekend and that he wanted to give me my chance at it before it would surely be sold over the weekend. Much to my suprise I have found the truck still posted a week later and at a price lower than their "absolute bottom dollar". If they could in fact go lower than 19,500 why was I told that? I feel that this dealership was trying to take advantage of me being a young adult looking for a truck and do not plan on giving them buisness in the future. More
