1st Time Northgate Ford customer...but not last This was my first experience with Northgate Ford. I am a Ford guy so I knew I wanted a Fusion. They had a good selection to choose from unlike some other dealers in the area. Some high's and low's. Pros: First contact was online with Angela Rentschler via chat tool. Very helpful in answering questions and confirming the two cars I wanted to to test drive were there (see more in Cons below). First sales contact was with Andre Singleton...a real Pro's Pro. Highly recommended. 35 years in the business and it showed. Understood my needs and helped point me towards my ultimate purchase, which was NOT the most expensive one on the lot, but the one that made the most sense for me. Second contact was with Vance Burris (Phone only) on second day. Helped my father see and test drive the car while I was not there and Andre was off. Key in helping me push through financing and price negotiation, all over the phone. Finance (Janet) was a painless process. Paperwork was completely in order and took 10-15 minutes, tops, to complete. Could not have been more friendly and knowledgeable. Car was parked right outside the finance office, indoors, and looked spectacular! It is a used car but looked brand new after the detail guys were done with it. Well done! Final touch point was with Anthony and Tom. Before I left, they made sure that my iPhone was Sync'd with my car and answered any questions I might have had at that moment. Also, very friendly and knowledgeable. Spoke with with at least one member of all sales/service departments (i.e. Sales, Management, Finance, Internet). Felt I was being fully supported throughout the buying process. Cons: Asked about two cars via chat tool and were told both were there. When I got there, same day, one had been sold. Now, I realize that happens. But a phone call/email to let me know that would have been nice as THAT PARTICULAR CAR was the primary reason I was going out there. Negotiated price of car with my trade-in and then got push back when I said I wanted to finance on my own. Was told price was contingent on financing through them. However, they didn't overly push the issue when I showed I got a better rate then they could offer. Ironically, ended up using their financing plan as they provided best rate for the term I wanted. The car did not have an owner's manual and I was not told the door lock/unlock code because they didn't know it. However, they called the next day with the code AND said the manual would be ordered and sent to my house (I easily found an online version to hold me over). While the car looked and smelled great. They did NOT give me a full tank of gas and as I was driving home, I realized the "Check Engine" light was on. I have not called them yet on this, although I expect they will check it absolutely free of charge. Still, going to cause an unnecessary 30 mile trip to the dealer and potential to lose my new car for a day to be serviced when it should have been taken care of before I pulled off the lot. Overall, it was a good experience. The showroom and hospitality area are nice, nothing overly fancy. Free water/popcorn while you wait and vending machines available if you want a snack/soda. Conveniently located 10 mins off either Cross County highway or I-275 (Colerain Ave. exit). Now that I have some experience with them, when it comes time to buy again or service my call, Northgate Ford will be on my shortlist. More

I called from work to tell them I would purchase the car. The salesperson had the car ready and the paper work was all in order. I bought two vehicles (2013 Ford Escape SE and 2013 F I am giving Northgate Ford the highest rating because of their flexibility and customer service. I bought two vehicles (2013 Ford Escape SE and 2013 Ford Focus Titanium). Their competitive prices are what motivated me to visit. When I arrived I browsed through their selection; once I finished browsing Paul approached me and began working with me. We worked out a deal with an SE Focus and the Escape on the Thursday before the 4th of July long weekend and stayed way past operating hours. We were not rushed and no dealer games were played (intimidation, waiting games, good cop bad cop, etc.). We paid for the Escape and a promise to do minor maintenance on the Escape and we did not leave with the SE Focus because I wanted some more maintenance to be completed before I put too much money down. Over the weekend I decided I wanted the Titanium Focus instead of the SE and when I showed up on Monday, Paul worked with me and was not frustrated that I changed my mind on the Focus even after they finished maintenance on the SE Focus. Ben the Sales manager was very receptive to my counteroffers and my reasoning, and I understood when he couldn't move on his prices. He was respectful, understanding, and friendly. Linda and Ben were both receptive to my financing terms and they were able to beat the interest rate that USAA was offering me. Prior to buying I went to almost every ford dealer between Cinci and Columbus; Northgate was by far the best. If I am in Ohio for my next vehicle purchase I will definitely stop by again and I would recommend this dealer to my friends and family. More

He had told me to work on building my credit and come back in two years. I did just that and yesterday, proudly, I purchased my first BRAND new car, a Ford Escape. I would highly recommend Andre to anyone. I would also like to thank all those who worked so hard for me to get me at a good finance rate. More
