To clarify....we had NOT agreed upon a price for the car. Boris asked us to give him a figure and we said no we wanted to take it to our mechanic before we gave him a figure. Why would we agree upon a price before having our mechanic look at the car...that doesn't make sense. The bad review was given simply because you held onto our security deposit for over 3 weeks after we asked you over the phone to process a credit. NEVER ever did Boris inform my husband that we had to come back to the dealership in order for the credit to be given! And then no one contacted us until I wrote this review! There are two sides to every story....but we have nothing to gain on our end by distorting the facts!

The agreement was the gasket and filter, as the filter needed to be replaced when the gasket is replaced (you could not do one without the other). This has been quoted to cost about $800 by BMW of Newport and by AutoBahn in the Boston area (the post and pre purchase inspectors). Certainly more than a $20 part. This is the biggest issue I have because the work was not done, when you said it would be and was part of the contract and deal. The brake sensor is just one more problem. Work that was supposed to be done, the brakes, was done, but not in its entirety, skipping and cutting corners to save a buck. Just insulting to a customer to do that. Granted, this sensor is a "he said" vs "she said" and I believe the BMW place when they say the brakes are fine, but the sensor was not replaced. Simply having a receipt in your hand does not mean anything, did you personally install it? Where is a copy of the work order and the mechanics signature saying he/she replaced the sensor? Or do you not keep maintenance records? Regarding the showing up unannounced, I left that part out of the original review, but since you brought it up ...Dave and I had spoken the previous day that everything was in order and the car would be ready. We received calls from the runner asking for information that was provided to the runner and to Kevin. The runner never said there was a problem, Dave and Kevin never called to say there was a problem. So, you failed to get the car the appropriate registration as required by the promised delivery date and you failed to inform me that the promised services were actually not yet complete. Your saving grace was your generous offer to deliver the car to Fall River, MA. The tires are fine, you guys got that right. I am clearly disappointed with your work ethic and honesty, and will not be bringing this vehicle in to your shop. I have already trusted your shop to do the work, against my better judgement, only to have the verification prove my initial suspicions to be true - sleazy ethics and a lack of honesty. I will have the work done properly and will send you the bill.
