Everyone at North Reading Subaru was fantastic - friendly but not pushy. The whole atmosphere is relaxed and helpful feeling - plus great free snacks! Sloppy work, almost as a rule...My car is a 2007 Subaru Impreza. I had two warranty issues addressed at N. Reading Subaru. The first was the shift indicator light located behind the instrument panel. I made the service appointment, showed up, had the car keyed into the service system, then waited for the repair to be completed. A half-hour went by. The service manager came to tell me that the part had come in, but was missing the bulbs (really?). It was bad enough that the car made it to the end of the assembly line without the part installed the first time. The instrument panel was re-assembled, and I drove away after setting up the next appointment (once the additional needed parts were located). During the disassembly/re-assembly, the repair tech had gotten greasy finger prints on the gauge faces (underneath the clear plastic lens). I had to disassemble the cover and clean them. I just came back from the dealership today after having the driver's side seat rails replaced due to rust. The tech scratched the console of my car when the seats were replaced. Does anyone check their work? Anyone? A great examplpe of bad oversight and poor work. More

It's rare these days to find a dealership that honestly cares this much about its customers, and will go to any length to make a customer satisfied. We went to Subaru of Wakefield first and felt while the salesperson gave us appropriate attention they weren't very conscious of our needs, and would not work with us to think outside the box. After doing some searches we found North Reading Subaru, from the first informational phone call to the subsequent calls and visits, everything was different. Greg was extremely knowledgeable, discussed the difference between the 2011 and 2010 models, and when it was time for a deal, he treated us respectfully and really worked to make sure the deal happened. Even when we had an issue with our financing, they worked with us and we were able to get our car just a few days later than planned. When we picked up the car, everything was ready, David was very patient, answered all of my questions, and took me for a tour of my new car. Over all we are extremely happy with our experience and look forward to a long term relationship with the dealer. More

We were looking for an AWD vehicle and this dealership was perfect in every aspect. They sold us on the idea of a Subaru. The salesmen were the most classiest men I've had to pleasure of dealing with. Abs was perfect in every aspect. They sold us on the idea of a Subaru. The salesmen were the most classiest men I've had to pleasure of dealing with. Absolutely no pressure to buy or put money down right away, which is unheard of in car dealerships. They truly made our car buying experience relaxing and simple...I HIGHLY recommend doing business with this dealership if you want to buy a Subaru. More
Have been buying cars for 48 years and this has been the best experience I have ever had dealing with car dealers. He was very knowledgeable of the Subaru Outback and was not overly aggressive (unusual in this day and age). George knew that the color I wanted was not on the lot and he went to another dealer (more than 85 miles away) to get the Outback I wanted. We had worked out the final price before he picked up the car, but the car had more options than I wanted - no problem - the final price did not change. My wife felt very comfortable with all the people at the dealership. They treated her as a customer and not someone who was just there with someone buying a car. The Business Manager was Stephen Bova. Have never seen anyone so organized. Usually this is the part of buying a car I dread. There was no pressure to buy add ons (I did buy the extended warranty, but had planned on buying it before we met Stephen). I had been in contact with 3 other dealers in the area, but I now know that I/we made the right decision in choosing "Melkonian's North Reading Subaru". Highly recommend this dealership and the people I mentioned above. More

We went back the next day with consumer reports information and worked through the deal openly. We got the features we wanted at the price we wanted. Corporate Subaru had terrific financing. NR Subaru prepped the car quickly. When we went to pick-up our new car, Rhett walked through every feature "soup to nuts". Literally, Rhett spent an hour with us and would have readily spent more if we had more questions. I wish every new car experience could be like this one. More

I was impressed with the positive experience and decided to bring my 04 wrx in for 90k service, which was done promptly and fairly priced. Ultimately, I purchased a 2011 wrx limited from sales rep Rhett Sanders. Extremely knowlegdable with 10 years of experience in the business, came highly recommended from a friend. Truly the polar opposite of a pushy sales person. He asked the right questions to see what I really wanted, and advised me accordingly. Rhett kept in touch throughout the entire process, as they had to ship a black limited in from another dealer that had the options I was looking for. When it came time to go over financing options I had a similarly great experience with Steve who recommended warranty options and sold me on the option to apply autobahnd antiscratch to the front paint and mirrors. Wouldn't go anywhere else for a subie, definitely see Rhett, Steve, and Mike. More
