Slow - Expensive - Unfortunate My appointment was for 9 am, I arrived and checked in close to 8:50 am - at least 10 minutes early. I was there for an oil change and State inspectio My appointment was for 9 am, I arrived and checked in close to 8:50 am - at least 10 minutes early. I was there for an oil change and State inspection and my estimated cost was $176 per the young man that checked me in. Almost 3 HOURS LATER I checked out to a bill of $280+! New windshield wipers were required to pass the State Inspection and a new cabin air filter was recommended. The windshield wipers seems like a very sneaky way to up my cost - stating that they were smearing and wouldn’t pass inspection. What was I to do? You had me. Interesting that I had never noticed it. The cabin air filter was “suggested.” I asked for a look at my old one before replacing - at the tune of $50+. This information was never given to me - but I got the bill for it when I checked out. What was I to do? You had me again. And the folks working the phones and check ins could be heard from where I was waiting for 3 HOURS and they were very rude with their comments about customers that they had just gotten off the phone with. They all seemed to be more interested in the young lady whose last day was that day than taking care of their customers. Finally, 3 hours! Really! You knew that I was waiting for my vehicle when I checked in. I can understand an hour, or maybe 90 minutes - but 3 HOURS! I should send you MY BILL FOR MY TIME while I waited. You cost me way more money and time than necessary. I will not be returning and will make sure that I tell anyone that asks about my experience at North Penn VW. Very expensive. Very slow. Very unfortunate. More

I purchased a certified used VW from this dealer and it was the best buying experience I ever had! Because of this, I came back for inspection and an oil change. The service dept exceeded my expectations! My advisor Ken kept me up to date on the status of my vehicle, while I waited . I was out of there so quickly! I'm so happy that the customer service at the service dept equals that of the buying experience! They even OFFERED to wash my car! Thanks again! More
