I am very sorry to hear about your experience at North Penn Mazda. Your vehicle came in with a check engine light on. The technician performed diagnosis on the vehicle and found code P0012 stored in the PCM for Camshaft Position Timing exceeding its maximum limit. This means that the VVT was starved of oil due to low oil level and lack of pressure. Due to the condition of the oil and the code that the technician found stored, we believe the PCV valve is a temporary fix.
