I have been bringing my 2009 Legacy to Northend Subaru from the time of purchase. I now have almost 90,000 miles on it. The service department seemed to be very busy and straight forward. I was given a loaner for the day at no cost which was a great relieve because my ride had to cancel. The Service Manager John along with his partner Rick got me going and on my way quickly. Here is the kicker I received a phone call later on that day with the need to replace the front brake pads and resurface the front rotors. The price seemed a little high at first so I mentioned I would call them back. I quickly call a Sears and another local Garage that does Subaru repairs. I was evry surprised to see that Northend was only $18.00 more . The difference is that I can count on my Subaru still being a Subaru and not some aftermarket half Subaru. I called back to authorize the work and Rick told me to my surprise the car would still be ready today. I was thinking to myself this guy knows what he is doing. I came in later in the day after service had closed and went to pay my bill. I ran into a Sales Manager by the nam,e of Jesse who helped me get my car and pay my will,,which was lower than the orginial quote..Jesse was such a pleasure to talk to that I came back a week later and purchased a New Subaru from him. I kept my old one and will give it to my Daughter in May.. Thanks Guys for making service service again..The only real service department.. More
We had an issue with the remote starter and after talking to J.J. he set up an appointment to remove the starter. Then, while in Litchfield S.C. we had an issue and called J.J. he directed us to Frank and he to J.J. he set up an appointment to remove the starter. We needed some engine work done on our Subaru Outback Wagon. We were treated very very well. We were given a car to use while repairs were being done. This is my 2nd Subaru in 11 years. The first one I bought from Ric and now he runs the Service Department. James O'Neal is also a friendly and knowledgeable service guy but I keep going back mostly because o from Ric and now he runs the Service Department. Service is thorough and they keep you informed of upcoming problems and a time frame to deal with them. Unlike some places that will tell you they have to do these 5 things, North End will let you know what should be done but never pressure you into doing them. They will work with you to do the amount of work you want done. I like the coupons and specials they email me regularly, and remind me of service. I have had new cars from 6 different dealers but I think North End is head and shoulders above the rest (at least the ones I have dealt with). More
This was my first visit and with the problem on my Subaru, they took me in immediatly and advised me of the situation in short order. The loaner car was a 2010 model and allowed me to evaluate the new Subaru as we are considering purchasing a new one in the future. I was pleased with the response from the service advisor, John Kessler and will be returning in the future for service on our Subaru and perhaps purchase a new Outback. More

From the moment I called to set up an appointment until I picked it up, I experienced nothing but courteousness, professionalism and a feeling of competence from the staff. ( It's a 2000 Legacy wagon )I was told that if they had found anything that needed attention, they would have told me so I could make an "intelligent decision" ( My words ) about what to do with the vehicle. I tune pianos and live 45 minutes from the dealership. One of my piano customers had a Subaru in her yard at the time and I went through the usual conversation about how happy we were with our cars ( This is my 2nd Legacy Wagon ) She made a comment about how her husband preferred to go to North End for service because he trusted their work. I put that in my memory bank and did the same thing when this last situation arose. More
