I got a brand new 2019 Kia Forte S and he made things happen. From the moment I spoke with him over the phone to the time I picked up the car, Cam was extremely responsive, very professional and courteous; he also treated me like family. Cam got me an awesome deal which could not be touched by any dealer. I am thankful to experience such great customer service. Michael in Finance was excellent as well. He treated me with the utmost’s respect and knew his stuff. If you are shopping around for a Kia, go talk to Cam. He’s the guy that will make things happen and you won’t be disappointed. We had a car towed in and were charged a $135.00 diagnosis fee. After the diagnosis they told us it would be $1600.00 for the repair. I informed them that I had an extended warranty and that it should be covered. They told me it was not. I then called Weseloh Kia in Carlsbad and they told me it was definitately covered. It was. Be wary of North County KIA they are unethical. Also the repair would have only been $1100.00 at Weseloh and not the outragious $1600.00 that North County tried to get. Fortunately it was covered by my warranty. Greg Meer the service manager was also extremely unprofessional about the situation. More

honest fair review bought a used car last sep. took 4 months, multiple trips to them (they kept lying saying its already done) & then to DMV (while dealing with a newbor bought a used car last sep. took 4 months, multiple trips to them (they kept lying saying its already done) & then to DMV (while dealing with a newborn & even had to take a day off just for this to wait in line at DMV for 4 hours to be told not only the car is not registered to me but not even registered to the dealer) to finally get them to send the registration. while at the DMV I got the dealer complaint form & filed it. too many complaints against a dealer's license & they're gonna have a problem. this is all in addition to the fact they day we went to buy they didnt seem eager to show the car to us & took half an hour to find the keys AND WHILE SIGNING THE PAPERS I NOTICED the the mileage went up by 3k. explanation? o well, it was sold & returned to us but the AD wasnt updated. service department is great. honest fair review More

Love my 2018 Kia Niro LX I had a great experience at North County Kia. My internet sales person was Rich Dowdy & I would highly recommend him for a great buying experience. He’s knowledgeable about cars overall & specifically about the car I purchased...the 2018 Kia Niro LX. The car itself is great so far (granted I’ve only had it 2 days) but it drives great & is extremely comfortable. Overall, the experience was relatively seamless except for me leaving my garage door opener in my old car but Rich was ready to mail it to me. A super aggressive car buying experience completely turns me off. If you’re looking to buy a compact hybrid SUV the Kia Niro is it and, if you’re looking for a sales person who will treat you with respect Rich Dowdy is that person. I would also recommend looking online & seeing what kind of internet deals are available. More
