Worked with the sales person and came to a final price. I was extremely specific that the price was all inclusive for an out the door price of $56K for the specific vehicle sitting on the lot. I confirmed multiple times to ensure there were no misunderstandings, 56K out the door (includes dealer added profit (starboard, edge guard etc...whatever was on the car) taxes, title etc. (he added 10% to the interim figure for taxes title etc.) We shook hands and I was ready to start signing papers but he asked us to come back first thing in the morning since they had a lot of people signing papers. 10 min before I was to walk out the door, I received a call that they needed $3750 more cash AND I had to pay taxes, title and license additional.) Talked to sales manager and he was pretty much take it or leave it, and I quote, "It's not a deal until we sign the papers". More
I bought my jeep back in May 2022 and they swindled me into an extra 10,000 dollars the jeep was only supposed to be 19,000 and by the end it was 29,000 for some stupid programs it has on the jeep that I into an extra 10,000 dollars the jeep was only supposed to be 19,000 and by the end it was 29,000 for some stupid programs it has on the jeep that I would never use, if I could give the jeep back I would and on top of that I didn't get my plates until the beginning of January 2023 and I even had to go to my DMV office to get them they were never mailed to me and NORTH COUNTY KIA is lazy never communicated with me the registration was paid for and the dealership finally paid then in November of 2022 and nobody from the dealership let me know I was the one checking with my DMV every couple of months and finally they told me yes they finally paid it what a xxxx DEALERSHIP don't ever buy from here you are wasting your time and money. I went to a few dealerships over the weeks and tests drove cars. I even almost purchased a leased car from another dealership but I felt a little hussled into it and since the car didn’t arrive yet, I w drove cars. I went to this dealership and had an honestly great experience. The salesmen were chill, nice, real, and absolutely not pushy or stereotypical. I was able to take my time with the car I wanted and spent 2 days to look at a car and make a deal that worked for me. I was the one who wanted to take the time. Everyone there was honestly really nice and down to earth. I will go back to this dealership for my next car. More

DON’T buy here!!! Save yourself the trouble and go to another dealership. They ran my credit after I told them not to. They had no reason to run my credit because I had my own loan. First, the READ ME BEFORE BUYING A CAR HERE!!!!! I recently bought a car from North County Kia and can not STRESS how horrible this experience was. First, the salesman was not informed about the vehicle and when I asked why the car had been on the lot for so long, he said "Not really sure haha." Next, I wasn't even planning on buying a car that day, unless it was for the right price. The second we sat down to begin discussing price, they immediately asked for all my personal information without explaining what it was for. There was no communication from the salesman or the manager and they claimed this was "routine procedure." I immediately refused to give them anymore information until they negotiated with me. This practice is incredibly inappropriate and is a horrible reflection on the store. Ok so all of that doesn't sound amazing, but it isn't horrible YET. When the sales manager began to negotiate, he would not even give me the time of time. I'm a successful female, with a great paying job and I truly felt because of my gender he thought he could take advantage of me. He refused to sit in the room while we were negotiating and tried to tell me I had never had a loan before, when I had a loan for my BMW a few years back. After all this, we agreed to a price. He then tried to take advantage of me AGAIN by giving me an absurd interest rate (4%). PRO TIP: bring your own loan like I did and they match immediately. Once I said I had a loan for significantly less, he came running back and was willing to match. Do not fall for this BS option deal they try to give you for 5 days. Just bring your own loan. Another PRO TIP: buy insurance on the spot or they will try to charge you ridiculous amounts so you aren't a liability. At this point, I had been at the dealership for almost 3.5 hours just waiting to go into finance. No one is checking in on me. They kept saying 30 minutes, 30 minutes. No one is communicating numbers to me. I had no idea what my monthly payment was, what the taxes and fees were - again all part of their plan to take advantage of me, even though I asked for it many times. So we sit down in finance and I am reviewing the paper work and they decide to just add a random $1400 for this anti-theft system, StarGuard. Not one time throughout this full 4 hour process did they mention this, what it even was, what the cost was. I obviously freaked out at this and could not believe they were trying to take advantage of me AGAIN. They could see I was upset, but their only solution was to either walk away from the deal or buy the car with the StarGuard. All in all, I can not recommend this car dealership LESS and hope other individuals don't have to suffer through what I did. Just buy a luxury car and get the treatment you deserve. If you do decide to take your chances here, make sure the sales manager sits down with you and gives you the necessary attention, bring your own loan, don't fall for the StarGuard trap, and get insurance. Poor communication, difficult to agree on price and then car and paperwork wasn’t ready when we arrived at the dealership. From the time I arrived at the lot things were GREAT! I knew the car I wanted to look at, it was ready for me when I arrived, Christina Munoz was with me on the test drive. Christina answered all my questions, and knew a lot about the car. She stayed with me during the buying process, and made me feel very comfortable, no pressure, just all the information I needed. Moving on to the finance department, which is usually the worst, all the signing and numbers. Troy made the process very efficient, and understandable. I have a great car, which I love!!! but if I ever need another one I will go back to North County Kia. Thanks guys, Pam More
