- Put $5000 deposit on my 7th straight Honda Civic EX - Started well, locked down pricing pretty quickly. No "market mark up," which was great, but the "paint protection," tint, etc was well over the Started well, locked down pricing pretty quickly. Always very polite. - Took 1 week for my overnight mail request to happen, was told 3 times it was already in the mail before the finance mgr called me to review (was still on his desk) - Coordination between salesperson and finance manager poor. Several of the numbers going into the price of the car were passed incorrectly. Military appreciation money was completely omitted. Finance mgr fixed everything, but another customer service data point. - Contract arrived with numerous errors on each page (misspelled names, wrong phone numbers, etc). Poor attention to detail. - Asked for the car to be registered in NC where it would be driven, was told we would register it in TX, "because that's what we're going to do." Over $900 difference, and something several other Honda dealers said was no problem. - Started off well, turned into a train wreck of poor communication and coordination. It is unfortunate for a long-time Honda buyer to get caught in a market where the dealer doesn't feel the need to sell the car to us because they'll just sell it tomorrow to someone else. - Asked for deposit back. Will go to another dealer to buy that 7th Civic. More
