I have been taking my 2006 Jetta to Fladeboe VW for just over a year now. I have had nothing but great experiences with the service at this location. Last year when the dreaded check engine light came on (j over a year now. I have had nothing but great experiences with the service at this location. Last year when the dreaded check engine light came on (just months outside of warranty, of course!) the staff were extremely courteous and helped explain everything that was going on, regardless of my obviously irritated demeanor. My rep at that time even suggested that I call VW Corporate and file a petition for service that I had to have (that service cost over $1300) and I am glad I did. I was reimbursed almost $800 for the parts that broke and only ending up paying for the labor as well as the other scheduled services I was having done at the time. Every time I show up at the service center, there is someone outside talking to me within 10 seconds of me turning off my engine. I feel like I have my rep's undivided attention. They are honest about prices and go out of their way to get me discounts when they can (such as substituting a "minor service" for the "oil change and tire rotataion," which turns out to be about $20 less). I can also tell that they are honest about the work they say that have performed, because I can always feel how much better my car is running and performing after a service. The level of service provided and the peace of mind of knowing that I had all of my services done at VW (leverage in case something goes horribly wrong) really does make up for the dealer high prices. I intend to keep this car for as long as possible, and will continue to bring my Jetta to Fladeboe for all of my service needs. More

Had car in for 40K service. Also needed some extra repair work. Dropped car in morning and used shuttle. Was told car would be completed around 4 PM and the shuttle would call me to arrange for pickup betwee work. Dropped car in morning and used shuttle. Ryan called me at 4:30 just to give me an update and said the shuttle driver would call me very soon. I called back at 5:15 and Ryan said the driver was just going to call me. The driver finally showed up at 5:40 and by the time I got to the dealership, Ryan was not there to go over the repairs and the status of things like tire condition, brake wear, etc. I had to try to understand what all was done on my own. Another person did help, but not to the level I have had before and expected. I ended up being late for a dinner reservation due to the shuttle delay. More
