Tom was great and took excellent care of the long over due service on my car. I took it in for a emissions recall and during the inspection they were able to find out a couple of problems that were causi due service on my car. I took it in for a emissions recall and during the inspection they were able to find out a couple of problems that were causing oil and coolant to leak. He even understood my very problematic issue with my VW 03' GTI's fuel pump, something that the other independent VW service techs had never seen before. It was surprising and also comforting to know that my car was being handled by a truly knowledgeable guy. The price was a little higher than I would have wanted, specially since I went in expecting it to be a free recall, but the issues were very real and after a week of driving the car I can really tell the difference! It almost feels brand new at over 100k miles!! Thanks Tom and everyone else there..I will definitely be back but hopefully not too soon :) More

The service was completed faster than expected and all known issues have been addressed, as far as I can tell. A service at Fladeboe may be pricier than at an independent mechanic, but the service is excellent and the parts are original VW. I can highly recommend this dealership. More

Just leased a 2012 Jetta from Fladeboe. We had a reasonably pleasant experience in the beginning. Then, several issues arose. First, after we decided to lease the car, we were told that we couldn't reasonably pleasant experience in the beginning. Then, several issues arose. First, after we decided to lease the car, we were told that we couldn't take it home that day because they had messed up something with the gear shift during the detailing. We were told to come back first thing in the morning, and the issue would be resolved. When we returned the following morning at 7:30 am, we were told that they didn't know what was wrong with the car and that it could be a few hours before they'd know anything. We had to go to work and were very frustrated, but fortunately, they resolved the issue in under 30 minutes and we were on our way. However, three features that we were told by our sales person, Alexis, were included in our car turned out to be absent. We were told that our car would reflect the miles until empty on our dash, that we had a 6 cd changer, and that we could control our iPod from the stereo controls and not have to control it from the iPod itself. NONE of these features ended up being a part of our car. When I contacted the General Sales Manager, Louis, he pushed me off onto someone else who has taken over a week to get back to me about any kind of resolution. When he finally responded, he informed me that they could install a bluetooth option that would cost $800 and we would need to split the cost!! Unbelievable! They made a mistake and I'm supposed to pay for it! No way! And...although the bluetooth is a nice gesture, it doesn't resolve any of the issues that we're having with the car. We were told that 3 features were included and they're not. All 3 of those features should be corrected...not some random option. Fladeboe started out decently but ended up being a bad experience. Don't buy a car here. They'll tell you anything to make the sale (even lie about features on the cars) or they just don't know any better and aren't informed/trained well enough to accurately sell Volkswagen products. More
I made an online service appointment for my 2012 VW Passat to get a 10k service done. Email response was quick for the confirmation. Upon arriving, Andy was the first person to come up and help out. After some paperwork I took off for lunch while waiting for my car. Andy called a few hours later to let me know that the car will be ready in a few minutes. He greeted me once I arrived and told me it was still being washed. Once I got the car, it was nice and clean; they had even cleaned the inside. Overall the service was great and the shop did a good job. I would recommend this dealership. More

Every time we have taken our 2 VW's in for service they have not done a good job. First they over filled my oil despite me specifically telling them how to do the job and the service procedure says exactly have not done a good job. First they over filled my oil despite me specifically telling them how to do the job and the service procedure says exactly 4.5 liters with filter, the tech thought he knew better and added all 5 liters. Next they stripped two screws while servicing the cabin filter. They spilled diesel fuel in the engine bay while servicing the fuel filter and they made a mess of the oil change leaving oil everywhere. Also on my wife's passat we specifically told them DO NOT rotate the tires, they did anyways. When I bought the car I told 3 people do not wash the vehicle and they did anyways and scratched the brand new paint which didn't have swirl marks when I inspected it before signing. More
