I have a 2011 Jetta and 2011 GTI, and every time I bring my cars in for service, Ryan Capdevielle and the other service guys are friendly and helpful! Went in for service a few weeks ago and asked about the pricing for a specific fix to my window. I couldn't afford the necessary part at the time so it was (supposed to be) noted in my file(?) that I neede pricing for a specific fix to my window. I received an email reminding me of the service items I had put off due to cost and called in to make an appointment. I called on a Saturday on the off chance they would be having a slow day and made sure to reference the email and the conversation had the last time I was there. I was told they had a busy schedule, but they could take my car first thing Monday morning. AWESOME! I set the appointment for Monday morning. I received the first call about my car around 7:15 a.m. They had received the car (which I dropped off the night before) and would take a look at it. 8:30 a.m. - We see what par we need to fix your window, but we don't have it in stock right now, it will have to be ordered and the earliest we can get it is Wednesday. When I was told that the part was not available in their shop, I was ticked! I had been told that the specific part needed would be noted in my file(?), so either, it was never noted, or someone didn't read the notes. Either way, I feel like they dropped the ball. If the notes were actually in there, I feel that the part should have been ordered on Saturday when I called in. If the notes weren't there, I should have been informed that there were no notes there and that they would need to look at the car again to see what was needed. I understand that some things fall through the cracks, however as I was picking up my car I was TOLD that they did do the service right because they did the service they had the parts for and that the next time I came in they would finish the service I was there for. Somehow, an unfinished service doesn't rank on my scale as a service that was done right. More
Tom is so dependable, trustworthy, and helpful I refuse to take my car to anyone else. I know he will not only manage the problem I bring it in for, he will also check all my fluids, tires, and lights to to take my car to anyone else. If he can lower the price on items, find me a better deal, or take care of something for free, he will go the extra mile to keep my costs low. I always walk out of Fladeboe Volkswagon with my car washed, well tuned, and feeling like someone invested time and effort into my happiness. There are many car repair shops and service representatives that are untrustworthy and will con people into paying for things they don't need (which is really scary in this economy)! I know if I take it to Tom, I am in good hands and he is always looking out for my best interests. He really is the best at what he does! More
