3/5/25: I am from out of state and I had a nail in my tire. My Honda is only 8 months old and has 16k miles on it. Okay, I replaced the entire tire because they told me that the nail had worn the tread. That was the first red flag. I am staying an hour away from the dealership and I was on my way home after paying $270 for ONE new tire and noticed that there is grease or brake dust all OVER the ceiling of my car!!! How does that even happen?! Of course by the time I had noticed it, the shop was closed, although I had left only 20 minutes prior. I called the sales dept and asked to speak to a manager, but he was busy with a guest, I was adamant to the operator that he return my call prior to the sales team leaving- but no such return call was made. I should be leaving town tomorrow to take the 10 hour drive back home but now I have to wait for the shop to open at 7/7:30 to drive the hour there just to get them to address the filthy head liner. Again, HOW or WHY did this happen in the first place when only the tire was being changed?! This car is brand new! I don’t even allow anyone to eat in my car because of the beige interior- but now it is all completely stained up. I’m am BEYOND mad and would NEVER EVER recommend their service dept. to anyone in the area. This should never have happened! More
Bye-bye Norm Reeves Honda in Port Charlotte, no thanks or stars from your former repeat customers. Reasons are below: 01/28/2025 we found a certified 2024 Honda CRV. Unfortunately, we were shown a history stars from your former repeat customers. Reasons are below: 01/28/2025 we found a certified 2024 Honda CRV. Unfortunately, we were shown a history car report from a different car. 01/30/2025 the car was ready to be picked up, we bought it, but neither a certification nor a correct history car report was given during the purchase. 01/31/2025 we went back to get missing documents to find out that the car was in TWO ACCIDENTS. If it was disclosed right away, we would never consider buying it. The dealership promised to get us a different car or our money back. 02/03/2025 we returned the car and wanted the dealership to cut us a check. They promised to get us a new 2025 Honda by 02/14 (Valentine’s gift), and we decided to give them another chance to make wrong right. Timing was the issue, but we were assured that the car would be at the dealership not later than February 14-16. 02/17/2025 no calls; we visited the dealership to find out what happened to be told by Mike Austin that we wanted to purchase the most popular white car with gray interior as if we had not discussed it before. No apology from Mike who said that the car might be available only in 2-4 weeks. Try to live without a car for another 4 weeks. The only decent person who apologized for the inconvenience was Roy. We got our money back, and the dealership lost their devoted customers. G&Y Kogan More
I had purchased a used Honda passport from another dealership but it had to be brought to Honda for a recall on the fuel pump. After the recall was taken care of the car wreaked of gasoline the smell dealership but it had to be brought to Honda for a recall on the fuel pump. After the recall was taken care of the car wreaked of gasoline the smell was so bad that the car was on drivable and it could not be kept in the garage. I contacted Honda explain the situation and was told to air out the car for 2 days if the problem continued to call them back to have the car looked at. A week later and the car still smells really bad. I was getting nauseous dizzy and very light-headed unable to drive the car. I contacted Honda not once but two more times about the problem. I was told that they did their part the recall and if there's anything else going on it has nothing to do with what they did that I was to take the car back to the dealer where I purchased it and have them take a look at it. I could not drive the car to the dealer you could not sit in that car even with the windows open. To drive the car all the way to punta Gorda was taking a chance of fainting behind the wheel and either killing myself or somebody else and Honda did not care. I finally got the dealer that I bought the car from to pick up the car and try to find out what was wrong with it. In the end the car had to be taken back to Honda because it had to do with the recall it was done incorrectly. I was told that there was some kind of a seal that they did not seal correctly and that is why the fumes were leaking into the car. For almost a month I could not drive my car and I got sick every time I got into the car. All this could have been avoided had Honda looked at the car like I was first told they would. I would not recommend to steal it to anybody the service center that is. And I do not know if I would be visiting them in the near future. If the car had the fuel tank replaced and it smelled like gasoline obviously had something to do with the work was done incorrectly it's common sense. More
At over 65 years old I have bought a lot of new cars, after 2 days of negotiating the Internet girls Halley and her Manager Brittany agreed to a price of $37,150.00 for a 2025 Accord. they told me they w after 2 days of negotiating the Internet girls Halley and her Manager Brittany agreed to a price of $37,150.00 for a 2025 Accord. they told me they would set up an appointment for me at 2.00p on December 29, 2024, to pick up the car. I live over an hour and half away. on my way to the dealership, I get call from a guy called Robert Smith his first comment was I assume you are driving to the dealership I said I was and asked him how he fit into the picture after all I was expecting to meet with Haliey. He told me he was the sales rep who was going to handle t he paperwork. I said OK and when I arrived at the dealership with my friend who had driven me (as I was going to pick up my new car). we did all the paperwork, and I signed all the forms including approval to pull my credit. I then thought we would be out of the door in 20 minutes or so imagine my surprise when Robert Smith comes over to myself and my friend that we would be there another hour its now 3.00 pm and I had an appointment at 2.00p. I asked that what why did I have an appointment, and the salesman Robert Smith told me that was just with him and not with the business office was on a first come first served basis I asked if that was the case why wasn't I informed off that I would have been there at 10.00amwhen they opened. he had no answers!!! I stayed to 4.00pm as my friend and I were getting ready to leave some manager came over me that there was another customer with one of the business managers and he didn't know when they would be leaving, I again asked what the purpose of an appointment and he was didn't provide an answer. At that point we left and told them in no uncertain terms that they were xxxx bags. I also advised other customers not to deal with them. Whilst there I met a lady and her daughter; she was quoted a price of $50,100 for a Honda Pilot after driving from Lake Placid she was given a price of $50,600 these guys try to scam from any customer. Stay away I am going to another dealership i can trust. More

We have bought three cars here and the process was long, but, had great salespeople. My issue is with the Service Dept. Took my car in Monday afternoon for an oil and transmission fluid change. I was told b but, had great salespeople. My issue is with the Service Dept. Took my car in Monday afternoon for an oil and transmission fluid change. I was told by Andrew it would be an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. After 2 and 1/2 hours I went to check. My car was sitting there ready to go, for who knows how long and Andrew had left for the day without saying a word! Then on Tuesday I get a text message from Josh F. saying if I had any questions to text him. I had a question and no response. So I called this morning (Thursday) to speak to the Service Manager. Jeanette took a message because of course he wasn’t available. It’s Thursday night and I’ve heard from no one!!! So frustrating. If and when I buy another car not sure it’ll be here. More
This dealership is very professional and accommodating, I came into look at the new Honda CR-V’s and Bailey Lavallee was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions I had. Bailey not only showed me e came into look at the new Honda CR-V’s and Bailey Lavallee was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions I had. Bailey not only showed me each car but went through each specific package and allowed me to see the differences for each trim package. I was looking to trade my car in and they were very reasonable. This was my first time buying a Honda and I had a phenomenal experience and I will buy another Honda at the Port Charlottle Honda through Bailey! Once I purchased my vehicle, Bailey was nice enough to go through each feature of the car and their functions. I was more than pleased to work with him! More
Want to give the best review possible for our most recent experience at Port Charlotte Honda. After doing extensive research and in person car "shopping" we were very fortunate to come to this dealership (a experience at Port Charlotte Honda. After doing extensive research and in person car "shopping" we were very fortunate to come to this dealership (a 45 min drive from our home). From start to finish our experience with our salesperson Omar Richardson was far superior to ANY other car shopping experience we've had in Florida and in our home state of NY. Omar was top notch in every way. Honest and professional and got the deal done at the price we wanted to pay. No added costs & no shady tactics at the close of the deal. Absolutely recommend Omar and this dealership to anyone whether they want to buy, lease or trade. More
