We had issues with Norm Reeves Honda when we first bought our last Honda and so switched to bringing it to the Irvine location (under different owners) for services over the past 7 years. We made the decsion to change cars after bringing our last car in for service, so when I realized that the ownership had changed, I was cautious. We had no such issues with Izzy, he did a great job and I have nothing but positives to say about the work he did. The gentlemen in finance was also very good and we were happy with the plan he presented. The price was fair (not negotiated in person, from a manager of some sort elsewhere--having said that, I see how it kept us deeling with Izzy rather than having him pass us off and that is an improvement in the car buying "game", but it is still part of game the car industry continues to perpetuate.) I was hoping for an amazing deal for a 2014 when 2015s have been on sale for a few months, but we were within values that would make us and the dealer satisfied, and my wife was happy with the second offer, so I got a good deal. We'll continue to use the Irvine location for service and it will be a first place to consider when buying our next car. As long as car companies continue using the car buying "game" as the standard for selling and buying cars (having one person work with you...but not having the authority to make a deal, having to barter a deal as if we were in a bazaar instead of a modern, industrialized, capitalist society where goods and services have actual prices based on various costs and the profit the market can sustain, where dealerships can only give a one person a break if they make it up by getting a little bit more from someone else), this experience was as good as it likely will get. It was pleasant, not stressful, no one tried to sneak added charges, and the price was fair. More
